You mentioned other horse channels making it look easy and not showing the work that goes into it all. I think that's why I like your channel, and why is has grown rather quickly, you tend to keep it real, and don't do anything fake or flashy. Many of us want to see as real of an experience as we can.
I would say "Friesian Horses" which is run by a Dutch lady is another fantastic horse channel. It is mostly about Friesians, but daily life with horses is also shown in detail in all of its ups and downs. Highly recommend.

During my "horsing" years, I enjoyed the stall work very much, and it is a big part of the lure. As is watching the horses' life long term. I also watch Fletcher Farms Amarillo. She rescues Belgian horses mainly, from Bowie, being sent to slaughter. Ex Amish. But she has a Percheron and a random black horse as well as a few donkeys.

For every horse that CC will sell, another one will came in his place. CC will then be able to save another poor horse that otherwise will probabily end at the kill pen. I do like Ziggy and Prim, but maybe it's better to let them go.
I know i'm going to enjoy CC's newest video, but I wait until I've watched it for just over a minute to click the "Like" button. RUclips doesn't count early "likes" because they could be done by bots (though not on CC's channel). Sadly, it took me a long time to learn that.

Having grown up and lived in Montana my whole life, I agree that the price of property especially around where you are right now is insane! I'm not sure what your budget is for a new property but I stumbled across this one. Check out a place called Big Biscuit Ranch. It's just over 40 acres, and located by Butte.
I like how you show the amount of work needed to keep a horse or horses. I am 73 now but in my teens, my cousin had a horse she boarded. I would visit her during summer break. She would go riding. The man who owned the stable said if I wanted I could help him with the horses. So I learned to clean stalls, clean their runs, feed them, bring them to the blacksmith, and clean them. I got very comfortable with horses and I still am. There is a lot of work.

Something to consider, maybe get a go pro and a system to strap on your head or chest with good microphone cover. Your BACK will THANK YOU! As an older horsewoman with back problems, I can confidently say the way you have to do things one handed at times is not doing your back any favors. Best of luck, back problems are not easy.

Having grown up and lived in Montana my whole life, I agree that the price of property especially around where you are right now is insane! I'm not sure what your budget is for a new property but I stumbled across this one. Check out a place called Big Biscuit Ranch. It's just over 40 acres, and located by Butte.

I like how you show the amount of work needed to keep a horse or horses. I am 73 now but in my teens, my cousin had a horse she boarded. I would visit her during summer break. She would go riding. The man who owned the stable said if I wanted I could help him with the horses. So I learned to clean stalls, clean their runs, feed them, bring them to the blacksmith, and clean them. I got very comfortable with horses and I still am. There is a lot of work.

Something to consider, maybe get a go pro and a system to strap on your head or chest with good microphone cover. Your BACK will THANK YOU! As an older horsewoman with back problems, I can confidently say the way you have to do things one handed at times is not doing your back any favors. Best of luck, back problems are not easy.
