- Welcome, one and all, to this week’s episode of Fratello Talks. Today, RJ, Morgan, and your host Nacho gather around the mics to discuss gold and two-tone watches. Each has a different level of experience and many opinions regarding the topic. RJ is a bit of a gold-watch connoisseur, owning more than a couple of 18K heavy hitters. Nacho has dabbled in gold but has never dared to go two-tone (yet). And Morgan has not yet owned a watch with precious metal at all. However, he certainly seems ready to enter the world of gold and two-tone watches.
I think the Sub two tone blue is one of the best and i agree with the Cartier Santos, The Date Just 41 yellow gold with oyster bracelet and smooth bezel with wimbledon dial always gets me. Nice Talk Thank You ! 👍👍

Cartier does awesome two tone, Caree for example. RJ was kind enough to guide me with advice when I purchased a two tone constellation, with full bar strap. Love it.

Great topic, thank you so much. My daily wearer is a 36mm platinum day-date with rhodium dial on the leather strap. I live near Davis University, and I’m seeing a lot of college students wearing two tone watches. I think it’s becoming increasingly popular among younger folks. I personally love two tone watches. And I think TT really looks nice for all ages. Stainless steel is the thing of the past. Two tone watches definitely coming back and will take the market by storm.
Must agree that the Cartier Santos is probably the most iconic two tone watch but a beautiful and maybe quirky two tone would be the Omega Polaris Titane particularly the chronograph with an automatic movement (Calibre 1154). A favorite two toned watch of mine

My favourite two tone watch would be the Omega Globemaster two tone in yellow gold and ss with the white face

Love the podcast but why do you guys always have to do so much chit chat at the beginning. Just end up jumping through to the start of the topic. Very frustrating. Do your catch up off line. Don’t want to discourage you, not that this probably would but just some feedback.
