how is the condition now?, after 1 year of use.
It's literally the same as when I got it 😃
Is it compatible with the Sony a6100???
Not sure as the body dimension is different
Is there any batteries included
No, unfortunately not
Can you use it without the cord on the side?
No this version is with cable
btw are you planning to give it away
I already did 😅
@@GaryJahman dayyum no worries
Is it compatible with sony a6100
Not sure to be honest as the A6100 is a slightly bigger camera. I think it would work actually but if it will fit properly that I don't know
If I don’t need to use the shutter button, do I have to plug in that cable?
Well not sure to be honest, I've always plugged the cable in.
Nope, don't need the cable if you're not using the shutter button, the power is passed through the fake battery thing ☺️
You do need to cable to use the shutter
Hello.
Can I charge a Sony a6000 camera via USB when the Meike grip is attached?
Not sure to be honest, I don't charge my batteries via the camera. I use a external charging dock.
As the information of this grip's manual, it cannot be charged directly inside the camera or the grip. You have to take the battery out and use the external charging dock.
When i connect the camera to the grip, through the usb, then it sort of freeze, wont allow me to change the camera settings, nor any of the buttons will work but for the shutter
Might be a faulty cable or check the USB settings before you connect it
@@GaryJahman exactly, thanks a lot
Question is; can you charge the batteries with the grip on? EDIT: To be more accurate; do I have to take the batteries out of the grip and charge them individually, or can I connect the camera to a charger and it charges them both while the batteries and grip are attached?
Wel I have a separate charger to charge my batteries so I never had to leave it in the grip. I do think it is possible
@@GaryJahman Allright, thanks for the response
Is any problem with the camera when you use that battery extra ?
Hi, what do you mean?
@@GaryJahman when you use that battery grip on camera, is there any problem or trouble in the camera ?
@@PedagangStandart thanks for explaining 😃
No problems at all. I used it all the way to Turkey and had no issues 😃😃
@@GaryJahman ok, thank you
hi there i was wondering which option you got on the camera for the green focus shows on the screen i coudn't find it on my a6000 , i mush appreciate your help.
Switching to AF-C or focus points on wide 👍
Can it be used on sony nex 6?
I don't think so as the size dimensions is different
Will this work with a cage
Depends on the cage 🙂
Why my camera not recognize this grip, it said uncompatible
What camera do you have?
@@GaryJahman a6000 sir
@@adityarizky3713 did you also connected the cable?
Make sure all batteries are charged as well
@@GaryJahman i did sir, did u install some application to activated the ext grip battery ?
@@adityarizky3713 no I installed nothing extra. It's just a simple plug in device. Maybe you need to update the camera?
I'm not sure. Maybe send a message to the manufacturer
Hi I read some reviews on amazon and there are complaints about battery draining on this grip if you left the batteries inside the grip after used. Have you encountered any of this issue?
No I haven't actually. I think it's more of a manufacturer issues. This is quite cheap grip so some grips might have that?
I am actually having that battery draining problem now. Literally thinking about returning the grip because of this 🤬
Well the battery would obviously drain. If you leave a battery in the camera without attaching this grip, that battery would drain too.
I need sony camera but cant afford it.😭😭..
Save up money if you can!
Saving from 1 year till now saved $270.
It will take 2 more years to save. Lets see. Hope for the best.
@@MrMuhib-el8we it took me three years to get my first real pro camera so I am pretty sure that you can do it too!
Yeah sure. Thanks for your kind comments.
