I want to get a hard wired kit for this charger to be use in my truck and so I can hide the wire but I need to know the voltage requirements for the USB-C and the amperage. Will 5V at 2.5 amps power supply be sufficient to work and to charge a iPhone 15 pro max using the pick design none locking 1” ball mount car charger? Thank you!
hey guys I need you back on bag design there's a bunch of handheld PC's coming out these next few years and you're basically the only brand making good stuff. I need to be stuck with the best bag for 2 years again, not able to get anything else because everything else is worse, like I used to be with your products.
Genius idea adding the mounting ball, BUT, restricting its use to your phone case will be a no go for me. Mainly I just don’t like your case. My wife uses a otter box case that has some sort of pop thing on the back that still does wireless charging. She loves those pop handles.
Just a heads up; be careful using the universal mount on your motorcycles. That doesn't have the vibration dampening that the moto mounts have, so it could damage your phone camera. I have an R9T myself and as you know those suckers RUMBLE. So I'd recommend getting a moto mount for it! Regardless, thanks for the love and glad you dig our stuff!

What is the maximum wattage/charging rate of the ball mount? The Peak Design website offers no such details.
For iPhone the fastest Qi chargers can get is 7.5W

This one is focused on motorsports but we're working hard on some new bags as well!

It works with any MagSafe compatible case. I have a Nomad case on mine and it works great.
