I use a separate, very slim wallet but I'm kind of interested in this one as I just ordered the everyday case for my Google pixel 6 pro. Does it often get caught on the edge of your pocket and fall off, when sliding the phone in/out of your pocket? Like with tighter jeans or something. I don't want to have to use both hands to get my phone back into my pocket. Easily solved by carrying it in my other pocket, but still.
@@Lidodido Yeah, it's not perfect. I wear tighter jeans pretty often and it definitely can happen. My muscle memory has become such that I grab my phone with two fingers on the back of the wallet as I take it out. I don't even notice that I'm doing it but that's the brain habit that has formed and it stops it from ever falling off.
Great review, I'm loving this wallet and the kickstand feature, when I don't want the added thickness to my phone I just take it off and put it in my other pocket. It's a super slim wallet in that respect
Yeah, I would honestly say I go like 50/50 on having it magneted on or running it just as a separate little thin wallet in my other pocket. It's great in either case and the kickstand is just a cherry on top.
I've had this wallet for about a month now. I love it. I do agree it does add some bulk to your pocket but that's to be expected. I never even realized that the magnetic flap could put pushed to the opposite side to hold it back. I guess because when I'm using it, I rarely unattach the wallet from the phone so can't bend the flap back. The only minor complaint I have is that the flap is so magnetically strong, it does take a little effort to pull it open. Maybe I just need some longer fingernails. :). Maybe some kind of miniature pull tab on the front might help in future versions. Good job.
It does, the connection is less strong though. It’s definitely designed to work with the case, and works best with the case. FWIW, I love the case too, it’s thin but still provides some protection, looks super sleek, and feels great both on the surfaces and when pressing buttons.
Oh, one more thing: the stand can be magnetized perpendicular to the phone to hold the phone up in landscape. The way the case is designed, it “snaps” into place in that orientation, but doesn’t without the case. It will still work, but not as nicely.

One thing you didn't mention in your video, that i found very cool, the magnets are strong enough and aligned such that the wallet can attach to the phone at 90° as well, so that you have a tilt adjustable landscape phone stand too!
I’ve owned this about a week, and I’ll never go back. I tried MagSafe wallets before but the capacity was too low. The capacity paired with the stand capability is great. I carry 4-5 with me, which is perfect for me. The stand is much more convenient than I expected, I even wedged it into a dashboard panel when my cheap phone holder broke and it worked perfectly.

I've got the case, but didn't go for the wallet. The case is great. I did get the car mount for a 1981 Land Cruiser that I drive in the summers. Not sure if I can commit to taping it somewhere permanent though :) I do love the PD stuff. I use the backpack and pouches almost everyday.
I got the car mount as well! I think it works great - I didn't love that the mounting point was that long curved piece of plastic (my dash is flat and full of buttons and knobs) but once I found a spot for it, it works like a damn.

I actually use my thin wallet with my tripod. I find the tripod to be the best stand ever made. You can use it as a tripod or as a normal stand. I don’t think I’m ever gonna buy another brand of case or accessories again. Peak Design’s got me.

Hey! I actually am not sure if it works on all cases as I don't have another mag safe case currently. I can tell you that it SORT of holds on the back of the iPhone 13 Pro but the magnets in it are definitely not aligned to the Mag Safe alignment, they are meant for the Peak Design Case system I think.
Can you attach a mobile case with a moment lens kit I think they have something for any case if you could check it would be super cool I'm probably buying one of the cases very soon

@@matttm3 Oooh! That makes more sense - it holds onto the standard magsafe magnets, but not very strong. Like I wouldn't trust it to reliably hold onto the back without the case.
Mmmm, I am not sure I want my wallet to be used as a phone kickstand out in the open and God knows what can happen to it. I feel safer if my wallet is in my pocket and out of sight. And if you want a slim wallet, why do you need to carry all of those cards???? Also the magnet in the wallet can be a problem I heard.

someone know if the case with the loop holds the wallet for axample as good as the case without the loop?
I have the case w/ loop and can say that I've never once felt like it isn't strong enough. I can't speak to the case without loop though.
