I am always open to suggestions on how to style/DIY thrifted items, if you have any ideas let me know in the comments! I would also love to know: what are you favorite items to look for while thrifting? ✨👇🏼
Hi! Lovely finds! I thrift clothes for my son max. one year ahead - he’s 2.5 so I only shop one size up now (when he was a baby I shopped 3-4 sizes up). If I find wooden toys, puzzles, board games, books or anything open ended, I will sure buy them 😊
Great finds! I also love thrifting wooden toys for my kids! I typically will thrift clothing for the future when it's a winter coat, seasonal clothing (Ie. a Christmas or Easter shirt) or a great brand or something I absolutely love (or they love). But I usually try and leave things that aren't "anything special" if it's too big :)
I love everything you got especially the dress and the platter and bowl. I want s new salad bowl so I'm keeping an eye out for one. My best thrift find ever was a working KitchenAid stand mixer with bowl and attachments for $14.99!! I found it last week at my Goodwill. It was a little dirty but looks like new cleaned up! I have one but I am going to give this to my youngest daughter who loves to bake.
Great thrift haul....get a wood appliqué from a home improvement store and glue over the the heart cutout. The green shelf is amazing...the color is beautiful. I would just distress it a bit and maybe add some dark wax if I thought it still needed a little more. But green is my favorite decor color.
Nice haul! The Abacus or 100-bead Reck-n-Rack is a great find and doesn't need to be stored for later. I use it with my 13-month-old grandson all the time. 💙
Absolutely lovely video as always! To answer your question about buying children’s clothes, I buy quite far in advance when thrifting. I’m 6 months pregnant and I have a couple of things that are size 18-24 months, but most of it is in smaller sizes. Ultimately if it’s secondhand and my style, I’d gladly sacrifice space in my attic/wardrobes for a year or two, rather than pay full price for it. But I live quite a simple life with few possessions and plenty of storage space, so it’s a possibility for me, I’m aware it’s not as easy for others. Sending love from England ❤
When thrifting/consigning- I shop like two sizes larger typically. I have a bin in the top of the closet that I store bigger sizes in and will bring them out when ready! Can’t turn down some of the pieces for the price!

that is a great idea!! I usually buy wooden toys too when I see them, even if he won’t use them for a while!

You could probably find a small decorative wood piece at a hobby shop to glue over the heart.
