  • St John's Point, located in Caithness, Scotland, features a historic site including the remains of a chapel and a cross-slab dating from the seventh or eighth century. The cross-slab, made of Old Red Sandstone, measures 0.86m by 0.58m and was discovered in 1919 during excavations. The area also includes a promontory fort, characterized by a substantial rampart and ditch, suggesting Iron Age origins . This scenic headland offers views across to Orkney and is accessible via local paths
