Love the FS510 ... especially the wireless chart updates ... just wish it worked with ForeFlight 😎

This is all good but if you install the flight stream you better make sure you have the specific SD card reader otherwise your not going to be able to use it. The card reader does not come with the flightstreem SB so beware you must buy the special card reader before installing the flightstreem. Garmin sells the reader and Amazon. I believe the difference is the card reader you need doesn't drop the voltage down to 3V. It keeps it at 5V. Just fyi.....

D Thirteen You’re not understanding what Flight Stream is. It’s just a wireless connection via an SD sized card that integrates your Garmin avionics with your electronic devices. The only “reader” you need is the SD slot already installed in all Garmin avionics. You don’t plug the Flight Stream SD card into your laptop, computer or other external devices as it only plugs into your Garmin panel in your aircraft to provide a wireless connection.

@@astral_spectre2586 I can tell you o know the system well as have installed it on a couple SF50's already. Once the flightstreem is loaded in the Avionics then you can use it. The problem is the intial setup on the aircraft configuration normally done during a software update. You need a special reader to do this. What is your SF50 N Number? I'll let you know if it on our list to do the upgrade

@@astral_spectre2586 ask the owners of N17CX. They will inform you of the issues had without the reader

Will it work with a 2011 G3 SR22 with Garmin Perspective?
