Again, GREAT lesson!! I had never heard that the pressure in the right hand should be with the index finger & thumb!!! I had those two very light with pressure on my last two fingers!! I had tinkered with my grip yesterday with good results, but now, seeing this lesson, I understand why I have been missing my irons!!!! Thank you!! Thank you!! I’m headed out now to try it!!!

I just went golfing and I can't believe the difference with the new grip. With the new grip, I hit an 8 iron 160 yards, when before the best I could do with the 8 is 140 yards, same with all the irons 20 + yards. Have to learn the new distance, was over shooting the greens. I am so amazed with the solid contact and feel. Thank you so much

I tried this technique today using my net and what a difference in contact and feel. I’ve had a terrible time this year hitting my irons until today. It puts the feel and weight of the club in your fingers and you don’t think about your arms. Less effort and more yardage and ball direction. Give this swing a try.

Just wanted to say that this video was an absolute breakthrough for me! I had about everything else right but this and could not figure out why I couldn’t consistently hit anything. Now, I hit every club in my bag with great contact and distance and straight about 90% of the time! I know there are gonna be some bad shots and stuff I can still work on but this improved my golf swing 100 fold without a doubt!

Thank you, so much, for this video. Your tips completely correct my slice and my arm pain. I was using too much pressure with my left thumb and not enough with my right index finger and thumb. I made it through a round of golf today with only a couple of nasty slices (when I let up the pressure on my right index finger and thumb) and without any pain. I’m may be able to golf twice this week. :)

This is really good instruction. I have a weak grip and have been hitting big push slices. I discovered the club was shifting at the top of my swing. Also focusing on pressure with the left pinky and relaxing the left thumb is really good. I feel like the club is locked in now and my misses are much smaller.

Never seen the grip discussed in such a way. I've seen grip presentation discussing grip pressure, strong/weak/neutral grip, overlapping and interlocking grips but this is new. I actually use a 10 finger grip, probably from my baseball days, which mostly works fo me until it's rainy or very humid. Perhaps I'll revisit the grip in the near future trying your suggestions.
