Great Steelhead video from a great and classic spot!! Brings back memories for me, stretching way back to the first Coho run there in 1973. Damn...am I old! LOL
I’d love to see some fishing footage from back then. I was going through some digital camera footage I took from 2008 and man did we come along way with video quality...haha
@@PUMPKNOWSFISHING Wish that existed. Just stills on film. No video cameras until those giant VHS things in 1978 (expensive and lousy!!). And no cell phones! When you broke down it was knock on a door "can I use your phone please?". How did we ever survive?? Hey, have a great opener this year!
when I went to the Humber last time I only saw suckers I gotta get out there again and try my luck for steelhead it sucks I don't have roe though but I got beads so I can try
@@MightyMarioBros378 all you need are 8mm peach colour for good water and 10mm chartreuse colour when fishing dirtier water. Jewelry beads are cheaper then buying fishing beads that they sell in store. You can probably get 100 beads for &1
I like to slow down my drift at the beginning to position my float then let it free spool. But sometimes you need it slow it down just a little if the flow is to fast
You got some nice fish, bro. I think you need to invest in a net that the charters on Lake O use. One that fits a grown man in it so you don’t have any lost trophy fish in the future.
@@PUMPKNOWSFISHING yea figured lol omg i just went and came back today... checked between lawrence and eglinton nothing... headed to old mill and nothing. Failed trout opener for me. Maybe ill head over to bowmanville after lunch
@@PUMPKNOWSFISHING suckers came super early this year. And yeah the last day I caught a steelie there was April 1st saw 5 others hooked that day. After that all suckers and the odd steel hooked. But man early mid March was so good

How do you like the CTS 4-8#? Does it have a good backbone to pull in bigger fish?
The best fishing in the world👍👍👍👍👍
Nice looking reel

Beads work. Keep at it 👍
@@PUMPKNOWSFISHING I have some beads not the fishing types but its the right size and color so will that work?
@@MightyMarioBros378 it should work as long as you have something to peg them with. A toothpick works.

@@PUMPKNOWSFISHING ok
you gonna go to grenadier pond this year if so then don't go on weekends reason parking is closed on weekends because of covid
New to centerpin fishing, when you are drifting do you slow your float at all or just let it free spool?

why is there no underwater filming with pike attacks ??
Covid happened
Hey guys I started fishing a year ago in Toronto and I have not caught a single bass or pike.Does anyone have locations for me to fish at in Toronto

That’s what I’ve been told too
Oh chay
He needs help
Lol year after year you would think the net job would improve haha. Nice looking fish pump 👊
Ha ha. The net is a complicated tool. Went to Harvard for that. 😂
When you buy a net doesn't it come with a manual or some sort of instructions on how too get the fish in it?
I have enough footage to make a compilation video #fishingfail
Do it man lol it would be funny haha
