Marshall is my favorite youtube guitarist. He has great musical sense and technique that is all about music. Plus he is crazy good at math. I watched his video on Srinivasa Ramanujan's theorems. Great player!
shadowknight132 flat fretboard, like classical. i wish more companies made electric guitars with flat fretboards,... it makes sense... you can have a line [not an arc] of strings, and inevitably a lower action, and more stable right hand. this is noticeable at speed.
@billmeedog This was an old lesson he had posted up on his site around 2002, it was a free lesson he had available at the time. The site was taken down a few years ago, if you're wondering. I would like to get lessons from him, but I've been busy with my own students. I'd like to post a simple Harrison, style hybrid/sweep picking lesson some day.
@@johncash5940 Marshalls is as close to Chopin on the guitar so far. and yes, of course we know who Chopin is. we’ve read his biographies and we know his music.
marhsall play the "study for both hands" from agustin barrios mangore, "partitura" find it in internet. Estudio para ambas manos = study for both hands, Mi mayor (E Mayor) with your technique, I think that you can play it in the electric guitar.
I really get off and find it funny the commentors on great players making great videos - they always ask for tabs -they want instant gratification. I'm glad people that worked their ass off don't readily give them out. If you can't figure it out with what you already got, tough rocks. We're in the information age where information travels at the speed of light - it's there to be sought out, and gained immediately and these people then go ahead and still don't even try to use their brain in the slightest and just go forward shamelessly asking posters to give out critical information. I mean it's almost like you have no business whatsoever coming on advanced ultratechnical videos like this unless you can figure it out bysimply watching. Do you expect them to kowtow to you and give it all out? I mean come on people can you get any fucking lazier?
I always thought if you really wanted to learn it youd figure out a way, whether that's changing the way it's played to get the sound or dissecting the video or song.
Disregard my previous comment,it was a misunderstanding on my part from a comment you made on my Uli Roth video! My apologies! nothing to do in regards to your video!!
Thanks for posting this phrygian.... always wanted to but never found the time. There were a few interesting things described here as I recall.

Man, where's the second part? I didn't find it anywhere, marshall rules.
Hey Marshall, that´s absolutely great ! Thanks for posting it.
PS You´re such a brilliant player !
@Phrygian12 How much gain or compression do you use for that balanced even sound. I love it!
@100slackerman1 well he is trained as an engineer. it seems like he's pretty quantitatively inclined, hence the mathematical playing.
Your guitar play makes me happy.
Thank you
