They not only made a lot of good music, they have inspired many other bands to not only make similar songs, but the bands themselves have been inspired by kiss for wardrobe, impersonators, and other ideas. And most of the men in hair metal or glam metal bands are very masculine because it takes being comfortable in your masculinity to wear heels and makeup. I for one think a man in a glam metal or hair metal band is much more attractive than any joe schmoe off the street.
