Has anyone else noticed that virtually every time the camera shows Gene singing along, that he's singing the wrong lyrics? Still love them. 80's & 90's/unmasked was my favorite.

This was the best lineup KISS ever had and the 80's era of KISS friggin' rocked!
They did for sure! There are so many great songs from that era that are either overlooked or forgotten.
Although I didn't mind this era, the best Kiss lineup was with Ace and Peter.

I'll take Stanley, Simmons, Kulick, and Singer (Revenge) though that line-up lasted all too briefly. Stanley, Simmons, Kulick, and Carr is a VERY close second, however.

I had a friend in college who died in a car crash. We hung out one night and listened to this song on the way to a party. He was a good kid. Always wore a suit which was weird to me but he had a lot of class and was always nice to me. hope you made it to heaven Max

How many other bands could go from 70’s stadium rock to disco to 80’s glam metal to Aerosmith sounding early 90’s hard rock to weird Soundgarden like grunge by mid 90’s all in a 20 year span? And then go right back face paint rock overnight for a cool $100 million tour. But hey they’re rich so it worked.

They not only made a lot of good music, they have inspired many other bands to not only make similar songs, but the bands themselves have been inspired by kiss for wardrobe, impersonators, and other ideas. Lordi, for example, is a band that was inspired partly by kiss with their wardrobe.

Wow I'm amazed at so many negative comments from people . These guys paved the way for a lot of the bands you listen to, and as free thinking artists they are free to change up there sound as they see fit. Thats why it is called artistic expression!
If there is one thing KISS has its staying power. So many of the bands today call it quits for good like a bunch of spoiled brats after a couple of records. KISS is 40+ years strong, give them there due!!

Ya know, KISS have, pretty much, ALWAYS been a glam band. They were one of the bands to lay the blueprint for glam metal. But i do agree on one thing: Paul represents the lighter side of glam, while Gene represents the darker and heavier side.
Rawker Roller Nope, many people confuse them as glam metal, but they were only characters, that's all. Maybe they helped with glam look for the genre, but only that. Before Dynasty, they were Pure Hard Rock. This would be their "true" glam times.

Excuse me? What are you talking about? Unless it's Thrash or Death metal, all metal men wore makeup, it's easier to see onstage, Ozzy even wore it. And most of the men in hair metal or glam metal bands are very masculine because it takes being comfortable in your masculinity to wear heels and makeup. Something that most men seem to not understand when they call them sissies or women. I for one think a man in a glam metal or hair metal band is much more attractive than any joe schmoe off the street.

I have known and loved this song since I first heard it in 1989 and I never knew a video of this song existed until now. This song has always been one of my favorite KISS songs. I have seen Let's Put The X In Sex video on MTV alot back in 1988 or 1989 but never this one.
