Thank you so much for doing these kind of videos. So much time needs to be invested to produce video content like this. Great scholarship, thank you again!
So happy to find this content. This and 1916 podcast are the two most informative watch content I have seen. Thank you for all the effort this requires. Big 👍🏼
Thank you for these kind of videos, please keep this up. I've started to colllect Submariners, but since I am an owner of a brilliant 18238, I am completely obsessed with Day-Dates.
Can you guys please do a video giving advice/talking through buying a vintage watch online and or unseen. I live in Australia and unfortunately do not have much access to variety and great watches. Therefore, have to resort to sites like chrono etc. but this can be very tricky given the nature of the process. Would appreciate advice! Cheers
Great video, but I've seen this topic on RUclips before. What would be unique, and really helpful for modern or neomodern collectors, would be discussing stone dials on 40mm daydates. Please do a video like that!
@@a004 thanks for watching! A video on that will not happen on our account tho. We are obsessed with vintage and believe 36mm is the right size for a Day-Date. But I’m sure others are interested to do something on those.
Thanks for the insightful video! I don't have the money yet to splurge on some of these stone dial pieces. One day.... And than I now who to go to ;) Keep it up!
Awesome vid. I was looking through the museum on the website and noticed a distinct lack of Jaeger LeCoultre. I dont wanna force anything but i'm curious as to why. As far as i know both its swiss and american operations did some amazing things in the watch world and had some incredibly unique pieces. Would love a video on them!
I’ve been thinking about buying an eisenkiesel Day/Date. Was that stone not used in vintage models? Very enjoyable and educational video BTW. Thanks so much!
Mij lijkt het misschien wel leuk als jullie een video maken over Tudor, over de historie, speciale modellen etc. Ook omdat Laurent AKA MisterTudor nu bij het team hoort! 👌🏻
Thanks for sharing all this knowledge I'm not a Rolex fanboy i mean i respect a lot their work but on the other hand their ddate stone dials in onyx, red and green bloodstone especially in wg are true dream watches
FC is maybe not original but I wouldn't say that they are least inspiring. They are just trying new things recently: silicon monolithic oscillator, perpetual calendar, tourbillon and now stone dials. We can arque about the pricing, conservative design etc but for sure they are not scared to introduce new things (for the brand)
@@benjaminellerbeck3657 great question. Rolex does stock a couple stone dials that are “on exchange”; meaning: you’d get another one if your bring in a broken one. Yet, this supply is limited to just a small number of dials like Onyx. And it is a service dial, so not the same font and possibly aperture style.

Those fake dials are scary AF!!! Amazing knowledge and passion across this entire video. What a crazy line up of dials are even out there!!! 😳🥰

I've seen / read Jasper talk about stone dials before, but this is the most informative video so far!
I would love to see a video regarding Cartier CPCP models and the variety within that collection
Great topic. We will do the next video about Cartier and show some sick CPCP models
@@AmsterdamVintageWatches awesome
Crazy Knowledge 🍾
Ofcourse. Its Jasper :)
Yeah deffinitly crazy eh LOL
Thankful for this watchtalk, really hadn't any knowledge about stonedials and T-swiss-t etc. Learned a few things extra today
What an eclectic variety of DD Dials. Stunning. I love my 80s DD and looking at these stone dials is a dream 😍
lekker bezig! blij dat jullie terug zijn. Heb jullie echt gemist
Great content, consider a sound check before starting.
Thanks for sharing all this info Jasper. Very helpful.
Learning something new everyday 🎉
I just purchased an aventurine blue Roman dial 36mm daydate, and it’s so fantastic.
Fantastic video, what a wealth of knowledge
Great that the “obsidian” has been sort of clarified.

Wow, you guys still posting videos 🤯 Great to see you again 😊
This was a great video. The replacement dial detail helped me dodge an expensive mistake. Thank you

Best content on RUclips. Looking forward for the next episode!
Class video! Topnotch!
Would love to see a chapter talking about current and vintage Calatrava models, appreciate your effort, keep it rolling🎉
Would love to see the videos time stamped so I could go to specific watches out of the 40min. Love the content
Absolutely epic. Thanks for sharing !

Just another extremely interesting video, thanks! What about fossil though?! Is it not considered a stone dial?
Very interesting and informative, as always.

Informative! Great job, super interesting & fun!
I just love those videos. ❤
Bravo! Great knowledge, thanks for sharing.
Wouldn’t meteorite dials fit in this category too? Great videos as always!
Yes!
Laurent doet het echt super goed
I'm all for people wearing whatever the hell they want, but the incongruence in sartorial choice between the two hosts is quite stark!
I was just thinking that.

Doesn’t Meteorite count as a stone dial? Nice video again!
@@RS-ul3gg ah yeah could be included for sure! Thanks
@@AmsterdamVintageWatches haha that’s what I thought. I bought a Daytona meteorite from you three years ago :)
Thanks for the sharing. Maybe next time you can talk numbers
Great Video! What happens when you send a damaged stone dial to rolex service? Do you get a new stone dial?

@@AmsterdamVintageWatches crazy, thank you for your quick answer! So if you can live with an exchange dial, its interesting. Have you tried it out?
Thank you 👍
Do a stone dials on sports Rolex watches video!
@@a004 will certainly do!
Do you consider meteorite as well? How rare compared to other stone dials?
I like to to talk about stella dials and the vignette variants 👍😉
Good topic. Will do one shortly. Within a month or so
Weten jullie waarom er 1601 datejust zijn met een vouwsluiting met kleine inprint en met de grote kroon bovenop...?
stone dial daytonas next?
🔥🔥
Where are those other two geeks?
The difference in amount of knowledge between the two hosts is too big. Makes it a bit akward to look at.
The amount of fake stuff in all vintage Rolex collecting is quite the mine field.
Oh boy, not even close to the modern counterparts. But yes, vintage does require knowledge or a good dealer/ network
people still buy rolex?!?!
They do. And they always will ;)
Just watched the entire video, those fake dials 🫣🫣
