They were the perfect 80’s band. Great look and the music was for the times. I wonder how much money they made on their short run together. I know Boy George was very successful as a lone act.

It’s too bad that they couldn’t have kept the peace. I don’t know all the details but Jon and George have taken each other to court, and Jon has left the band. I hope it will just be temporary, but you never know.
We will NEVER know the details, last week George (and the band) agreed to pay Jon more than $2 million dollars for lost pay. I was hoping it was temporary too, but it's now permanent, Jon is FOREVER banished from Culture Club and NOT allowed to use the name of the band in the future, it's clear George DIDN'T want the details to come out.
George lied SO much about this at the beginning, he seemed to think Jon would just "crawl away" to an unknown existence. I'm glad Jon had the backbone to stand up to George's bullying, by speaking the truth and getting his pay. It seems like a joke, listening to them talk about how wonderful things are between them, they were "biting the bullet" for the sake of the band.
