Great, words from someone who studied it for competition, start using a metronome and get the notes even, work on the cadenzas at 64 bpm and move it up by 4 bpm every time you play it perfect 3 times in a row. And less pedal. Overall great job, and have fun!
@@nasirferguson4098 Oh, yeah it was off. The last cadenza I messed up on so much. I'll keep your words in mind, thanks for the advice! I had multiple recordings of me playing and now looking back on it, this one was the worst one, but hey, it's supposed to be a practice video.
@@kanecanedy623Everything combined, sometimes you need to press the pedal only halfway, sometimes you don't press it for a small moment... If you practice long enough/listen to your recordings, you should start to hear/feel when to do something special with the pedal... All in all, you'll learn it one day, good luck!
For the people who want to start to play the piano, I started playing 2 years ago and it took me almost 1 year to learn this piece. Worth the time!! The key for making progress is to pick a song that you like and keep practicing! Great work!!
Just some general feedback: - definitely less pedal usage - smoother consistency with the octaves towards the end of pg. 3 rather than pausing - practise with a metronome to make sure every note value has had attention paid to it Not bad for 3 months, looking forward toward 6 mo progress
I had other videos of my playing Liebestraum and looking back on them, the one I posted was the worse. I picked it at random. I will post another progress video in February, March, and then April.
Oh my Gosh, thanks for over 100 views on this video!! I'm just a small tiny RUclipsr, and I'm glad I got over 100 views on a video! Thanks RUclips travellers!
If anyone is curious, I haven't done a fish tank video in a while because it had an algae bloom. The tank got really ugly and now it's recovering, but I do have some other creatures I can make videos with. . . What do you want to see? More piano, or more animals? I could do plant videos too if you want.
You are doing really great! I am learning to play the piano and playing like you is like a dream for me. Pls continue working and you ll achieve all your goals
Both working on the same song lol you’ve further than I am definitely, I’ve only done a chunk of the first page to you know do it in sections but still very impressive bro, and nice to see people playing classical music
Im learning this song too at the moment. keep it going ! Since you can already play the whole song through, it'll only be a matter of time before it sounds exactly how you want it to.
If you check my channel, there is another update. I have been playing for 3 years, closing up on 4. I practice assorted pieces and scales and stuff everyday for like 1 hour.
Isn’t this too much for pianists in Piano adventures level 4? I assume that you are in the level because of the book on the music rest. I am nearly at the end of 3B and dream on playing the original form of liebestraum someday.
Oh, I stopped with the Faber thing. I've just been lazy and never put the book away. I was supposed to start level 5 this year but then I just stopped all together with it. This piece isn't too much for me. Look at the rest of my channel if you want as well! I hope you can play Liebestraum one day too!!!!!
This piece is probably too advanced for you at this point, but if you wanna keep working go for it. But imo I think spending time on easier pieces and building your skill, then coming back to this piece later would be best for you
Well, I’ve finished it completely. The last Liebestraum video I made doesn’t show how it is now, and anyways with my new piano teacher we are doing more technique and theory stuff.
bring out the melody more, don't focus on playing the bass loud and use much less pedal, and never take both hands off the piano also use a metronome, the note values are quite inconsistent and your jumps are much too slow and there were quite a few missed notes. Also, for the descending arpeggios at pg 3, use different fingering instead of 1 5 1 5 1 5, pause too much on the 4th page, and slow down too much on the 4th page with the left hand.

Also your first cadenza was really off id practice that, but that’s also a really hard passage great pianists mess it up

When you say less pedal, you mean press the pedal less or just dont press the pedal at certain parts generally?

I've also found that I play a tad too fast when practicing, so I will take your advice and go slower, and try with less pedal.

A combination of piano and animals is something a lot of people want to see I would bet
I've only been learning piano for 6 months. My dream is to learn this piece one day. Well done! I'm looking forward to your progress! :)
Good luck!
You don't need luck to learn that piece, just enough time and will to learn and practice every day! (for years!)
I need to see how that progress goes, well done!
Once I get a new keyboard, I'll immediately practice this song:) this piece is one of my favourite so far. You did well:D
hi, im currently working on this piece too. youre doing great.
excellent! you have motivated me to learn the piece, thank you
You are doing really great! I am learning to play the piano and playing like you is like a dream for me. Pls continue working and you ll achieve all your goals
Thank you! Keep playing piano and don't stop, if you stop you might regret it some day.
i learned how to play this song some months ago, and the best part of studying songs is being satisfied with the final result!
Thanks for sharing 🙂

Immaculate
Thank you so much! I am uploading the improved performance of Liebestraum as I type this comment.!
just a little thing: you‘re not supposed to hit c again at 0:32. the sheet only tells you to hold c until then
what level are you in your piano book? just wondering bc i have the same book but i’m 3B :)
Oh, I stopped doing the Faber books a year ago because I was playing stuff too advanced for them. But my level in RCM would be around 8-10.
Wow, this is amazing. How long have you been playing?
Around 3 years!
Just curious, how long have you been playing piano and how often do you practice? Awesome job, btw! looking forward for later updates on this piece!

I started lerning thi piece Yesterday , at 2:09 at the moment it's non that hard

This is 3 months of piano playing or 3 months of liebestraum practice?
3 months of Liebestraum practice, I've been playing piano for around three years. Just started getting into harder pieces last year around February.
im sure you might already know since its been a year but u played some extra notes because u might have missed the tie
You should work about the start
Razobral !!!!! teper nujna dolgaia ,kajdodnevnaia shlifovka ,chtobi sigrat kak nado i eshe bolshe ,chtobi sigrat idealno

Do another fish video
I will do one! Just waiting for my algae bloom to clear up. Chaos commenced in the fish tank. . .
Se fosse eu só tinha pegado o video da kassia e copiado pra mão

PRETTY WELL I THINK. THE NEXT YOU WANT TO PLAY WOULD BE LISZTOIMANIA 1975
Metronome pls and read sheets again u play few notes repeatedly when they are just idk how to call it- supposed to be played longer to be held
Do you mean when there's a fermata? And yes, the speed is messed up. It is better since I did that recording, I will post the better one in February.
Better version is posted! Still errors, but they aren’t that visible. I hope.
