This series is the embodiment of Planet Zoo. It show cases all the animals, scenery and management. It feels sad to think this series will soon come to an end ): I have enjoyed every bit of it (:
Thanks! Before I started this series I spent 90% of my play time in sandbox mode, and so glad I gave franchise a try! I've learnt SO MUCH! What's important to manage, what's not, and got a good look at every single animal and exhibit species.
It's crazy isn't it when you see how much space you have used for your zoo and how much space Planet Zoo gives you to build and yet no PCs would ever be able to build something that big. I have enjoyed this series, thank you. I am in England and built a cottage farm walkthrough interactive habitat when I brought the Farm DLC, I am no where near as good a builder as you but I would love for you take a look at it on the workshop, it is called Tiptoe Farm.
I'll take a look! I had no clue how much room would be needed when I started out, so made habitats as small as I could to squeeze everything in. Now that we're almost done and there's still nearly half the space empty, I'm not worrying about habitats being oversized!
I tend to overcomplicate, and in some areas that works, but I felt for the farm I wanted to keep it simple. Also helped get all the animals out in 1 session rather than extending it over a couple weeks!
One of the things I love about the Barnyard pack is how well the animals go with the simplest of enclosures. It doesn't feel right to make something super simple for, like, a tiger or a bear or something -- but goats and sheep never look out of place in a nice simple fenced-in pasture.
I love watching other UK creator’s interpretations of farms and stuff, love this build this pack has definitely been my fave i think it’s close to home, most of my barnyard stuff was inspired by local farms
It feels strange to think we might only have one more dlc left but its kind of exciting to see the finale for this project on the horizon! Its been such a journey seeing how this zoo has shaped up and can’t wait to see this through!
I love how realistic the farmyard area is 😊 Haven't watched in a while, as I always want to play planet zoo if I watch your vids of it, and I did not have time to be obsessed with planet zoo again, but caught up now and thought the changes you made to get framerate back were so smart. Have you thought about what you will do with the planet coaster sequel? Will you transition to mostly planet coaster stuff, try to do half and half or stay mostly planet zoo?
I started the channel with Planet Coaster, and said I'd stick mostly with Planet Coaster way back then, but got obsessed with zoo! Can't say yet where my mind will take me when Planet Coaster 2 comes out, it depends what quality of life improvements it adds. Playing the original was hard after zoo came out because the improvements were so extensive, it was a struggle to build in Planet Coaster! Will likely balance the two for a while at least.
They need to add an option to turn off guest rendering to help with lag in congested areas. guest lag is what causes all the problems in my zoos, too. It would help a lot if you could designate which direction guests could walk in and have one-way paths, or if the AI kept guests to the right or left side of the path, like on a road so they could pass each-other in opposite directions without having to calculate 10000 routing collisions a second.
Guests are a big problem. Breeding is also a major lag-factor I've found. I turn off breeding and suddenly lag massively reduces, even though there's no more animals than before
Not quite yet...I'm pretty confident another DLC will be landing some time soon, what I suspect may be the last pack released. I'd rather hang on and release it as a full zoo, than incomplete. After the last pack is confirmed then it will 100% be up on the workshop!
I handle the research stuff by having a research zoo with a maxed out mechanic and I run it at max speed. No animals no other staff. Super fast. I did start it off as an animal research facility and gained the initial money from the guests. But once I had built up a good cash base I removed everything but the staff buildings and the mechanic.
Not in the near future. I don't own any of the DLC on console because I own it all on PC and the cost to get everything again is a lot! I will if there's a super sale at some point for the console DLC.
I have watched since episode one to episode 32 and now wat do I do now 😢 also in planet zoo from frontier workshop wat dose disc space because it says not enough disc space ps I am on console
Sorry it's taken so long to respond, I missed this message! For disc space, for console you have a limited space for the amount you can download. Once that's filled it won't let you upload any more. Not sure but that might also mean you've filled space for downloads too. A way to fix this would be to place a blueprint you've downloaded, then blueprint it in-game as your own, then delete the original from the workshop
by hearing your voice, it´s hard to tell if youre a biological woman or a trans-person..it´s not a huge amtter and I mean no harm, but nowadays it´s getting harder and harder to tell WHO youre surrounded by..could you clear that out ? great video!
Please pin me
There you go! 🤣

I love this area. It's so simple but so nice... It truly feels like a farm

That was my thoughts on this too! I felt bad releasing a video with such simplistic habitat designs, but it felt so right!

I've been watching your videos too! You're doing some awesome builds
@@PlasticSwans aw thank you! means the world 🫶

Don't know why, but when you zoomed out to the zoo overview, it reminded me of the "zones" in the old Crystal maze TV show, lol!
A lovely petting zoo for all those animals!
The excitement I felt when the notification popped up! This series is one of my favourite planet zoo series ever, I love the way you build!
Thank you for watching! This little series has become a mission over time, and I'm very happy others are as invested in it as I am
This looks amazing! I’m always amazed by your builds :)

Wow! I wish you would made a plains zebra enclosure and a animal hospital 😢

YAY!!!! Now that all animals have been added, do you plan to add the zoo file to Steam?

By any chance, do you think it’ll work if you try the Every Animal Zoo in Sandbox mode? If not, this is okay
do you think you will make dlc animal habitats for the console edition
Not in the near future. I don't own any of the DLC on console because I own it all on PC and the cost to get everything again is a lot! I will if there's a super sale at some point for the console DLC.
will you be continuing this series?
Absolutely! Next DLC whenever that is we'll see this back
First and i love this never stop
