This song is a masterpiece!
You have to give it to him. He worked on this wrote this album while touring with Interpol. Its pretty facinating to create something different from Julian Plenty and Interpol. The multi level of sounds in this song, is to me in my opinion, romantic. I will forever be a fan of Paul (aka DJ Fancypants) Banks.
I've listened to it about 19 times all the way through. It's a story of excellence, and life. Don't let the issues sung, get you down, follow them as lessons. Another Chance. No Mistakes. Young Again. Arise, Awake. The Base. Summertime is Coming.
Listen to it... like really listen to it. Amazing stuff!

He/she was kind. I didn't even hear three good ones but hey maybe it's a grower as you say, I didn't like Our Love to Admire when I first heard it but now it's a firm favourite. xx

That's true. with all of Paul Banks stuff, including Interpol, the more you listen, the more you love them. And i disagree with acestorcroll, this album is stronger than skyscaper: you left out Over my shoulder, Young Again,and I'll Sue you. I LOVE the new album

a bit disappointing, the beginning is one of the best beginnings i have ever heard to any song ever, but the at 2:35 it changes completely and is truly shocking, and at 3:19 it becomes like the beginning again and is amazing

When I say heavy I mean the whole feeling of the songs - not the distortion, speed, etc. They're heavy. And NO this album is NOT perfect, but as I say there are a few, and Young Again is growing on me.
FYI this video is banned in Germany because GEMA (the IP rights administrator in germany) "might" have rights over it.

This song, Summertime is Coming, and Lisbon are great. The rest are a little too heavy - can't listen to them in one sit down because they're like a weight on your shoulders. Not to the same standard as "JP is Skyscraper", completely different of course, but three good singles - not bad Paul.
