Never stop putting out these kind of videos. There awesome. I was born in 1995, and the late 90s and early 2000s are some of the best memories growing up. Kmart, Walmart, Toys R Us, KB Toys. Yugioh, Pokémon, LEGO, Bioncle. So many good memories. Things were better back then. A simpler time.
It just sucks that he wont be honest about the source of the videos. Idk feels kinda weird for someone to essentially be taking credit for someone elses work
Thanks for posting these videos. As someone with bad depression and anxiety, I find these videos extremely comforting. Almost like they transport you back to a time/place when you were happier.
I can completely relate. I like to watch videos of the 80s and 90s for that reason. Well, I don't have depression but sometimes I get very nostalgic and these types of videos comfort me.
Ah, 2006. Pre smartphone days. I remember getting my first digital camera in 2007. It was a nice point and shoot Sony Cybershot model in a nice light metallic blue. I miss that camera. I accidentally dropped it during my senior year in high school when I was taking pictures of classmates and faculty. At least I got plenty of plenty of pictures. The zoom mechanism stopped working and you couldn't zoom the camera in and out. Also, the optical zoom stopped working on it and couldn't focus either. I still miss this era of Walmart before the remodels of 2008 and beyond.
@@TwistyEntertainment flat screen TVs were a lot more expensive to produce back then. Newer technology these days makes it easier and cheaper to produce them.
@@TwistyEntertainment very good. I bought a 32 inch Vizio LED TV back in 2011 for about $400. Gave it to my in laws last year and they still use it occasionally. Still produces a great picture for 1080P.
It’s crazy to look back at the 00s and realise how packed the toy isles were, it makes you realise how much toys are dwindling out with kids wanting influencer shit from TikTok, 8 year olds asking for a lulu lemon yoga pants and drunk elephant! When I was eight I wanted a robosapien and bratz rock angels! 🤣
10:55 Hot Wheels! From 2006! Fully stocked of course. In the days before distribution woes, scalping culture and a couple of years before the economic crash.

All those old TVs are actually still as useful today, more so. All you need is an HDMI converter. And in the case of free streaming services, it's better since they basically only show SD versions of shows and movies.
I love watching your videos they bring me such nostalgia like everyone else here I was 13 in 2006 so I was a teenager remember the good old days of going outside in my bike around with friends still have a lot of videos of me recording my friends do stupid shit lol I wish there was a machine so I can go back in time to relive those days again
I love how I asked you to search for a 2006 shopping at toys r us video, and RUclips recommended a video you had posted in the past of a 2006 shopping at toys r us video a while back. It’s like you’ve got all bases covered for us nostalgia mongers, really appreciate it and love all your posts. Brilliant work
I was born and raised in Alexandria, and it's so cool to see this video! Thank you for posting this! And it was such an incredibly bizarre coincidence for me to see the woman in the gray sweater who turns the corner at 9:51 because I lost my virginity to her six years prior in the summer of 2000 lol.
@@vampirerobot It was awesome! I miss the old Walmart look. Takes me back to better days. I also love digital cameras from the 2000s so that was a cool bonus.
I know this sounds super corny and what not, but that lady talking on those great flip phones at the time is super nostalgic to me! I mean, I love my iPhone now, but I just wish I could go back if you know what I mean?
When the advertisements where in store! Now you have to see it in the Walmart app! And when they had layaway, not sure if some stores still do it,but where I’m at,they don’t! I buy electronics or appliances online!
Friendly reminder 4K 60fps cameras existed in 2006 and were common to own. I think if you filmed tomorrow with a potato it would look nostalgic and old.
It’s wild to think 9/11 happened 5 years before this. Covid started 5 years ago. Back then, it felt like time went by slower. Maybe because I was a kid
Omg look at those kitchen appliances the coffee maker and other ones were white not like today where it's silver and black or whatever they have now it's changed so much for today's kitchen appliances from k cup makers to air fryers to Expresso makers and it's just evolved from back then to now. Those lcd tvs and plasma tv are expensive back then and yet today i can 4 of the 50inch tv for about $250.00 and 75 inch for like $350 or $375 can't believe how much it's changed from 2006 to now wow.

Well I guest 40 years from now we’ll be seeing video titles stating 2023 shopping at Walmart 😅I’ll be 86 and watching.
I think we're about the same age. I just turned 47. 😊
Except in the current timeline of events there's a lot of shoplifting so that's not gonna happen
Makes me imagine an alternate timeline without the Great Recession and where digital technology didn’t advance far enough to start making life worse.
Sounds great.

They might already have HDMI built in. My oldest HDTVs do. The one in my bedroom's from 2008, still works great, and has two HDMI jacks.
Last year neighbor threw away a good working 32" Phillips LCD from 2006 and it had HDMI !! Gave it to my mechanic as a gift lol
