We chose Sarzana as a base to visit the Cinque Terre and it was fantastic. Authentic, relaxing with kind and welcoming people. We loved walking in the evening in its beautiful old town. We recommend it to everyone because it is little touristy and you feel at home
This is one of the best videos I've ever seen.
I was there last week - June 2018. The aerea is just marvellous. We did some of the walks, and we also took the boat from Levanto to Portovenere. That was awesome, to see the coastline. This was my second trip to Cinque Terre, and I already want to go there again.
Its stunning area indeed! And its even better in a low season when there are just few people around and the air temperature is perfect for hiking! Did you find big crowd there in June?

Hello! I'm visiting Cinque Terre this July and I heard that it was illegal to fly in CT? Another article I read said I needed to get two signatures? I'll only be flying for recreational use. Please let me know.

Hello! It depends what you want to fly. Inspire? Spark? Phantom?
We are not sure anymore if DJI put some restrictions in that area, but there no airports in proximity, so it was alright to fly some years ago.
Expect a lot of people there, so you won’t be flying in the towns.
It won’t be a problem if you are flying only above the sea and not above the people.
If you are into flying, then take it with you, for sure you will get couple of great shots.
How did you film this ? What cane of camera 🎥 and material ?

Dear Mike,
To film this we used DJI Phantom 3 advanced, Sony A6300, tripod with 60cm slider. 1 day of filming and 2 days of editing.

is possible fly drone in this place?
Depends on the drone size. Stay out of people and don't fly over people and you should be fine.
no problem with the police?
Depends where you fly from. Shots from distance shouldn’t be a problem as you are far from drone.
Close shots might be a problem as you need to be close to drone.
Flying Inspire 2 will be a problem as it’s huge and noisy.
Mavic Air shouldnt be a problem. Don’t fly in from of the police!))
Legally you need a license and permit to fly anywhere in Italy.
