I had a question. What's the difference between the first and the second story beside being more polite? Shall we use more or less politeness according to the situation??
안녕하세요? It's not a matter of being polite or not, it's a matter of whether it's a public/formal or private/informal setting. The first version is written with '-아요/어요' which is most common polite way of speech. Foreigners are usually encouraged to learn it first because it's appropriate in EVERYDAY situations, such as in restaurants, shops, or with strangers. The ending ‘-ㅂ니다/습니다’ in the second story is the polite way of speech in FORMAL settings. We use this ending in formal situations such as speeches, interviews, and TV news. I hope my explanation is helpful to you. If you don't understand, feel free to ask again. 😊
반가워요. 다음에 더 쉬운 초급 읽기 영상을 만들어 볼게요.^^ 한국어 공부 파이팅!!! Bem-vindo. ☺️ We'll try to make videos about reading for absolute beginners. :) We hope you enjoy learning Korean and keep going! 💪
『Same and Different Stories』 tells the same story in a different way than the first story, such as using a different tense or a different speech level. 😊
지금 PDF를 준비하고 있어요. 6월이 가기 전에 PDF를 제공할 수 있게 최선을 다할게요. 조금만 기다려 주세요. ☺️ We're working on PDFs of our videos. We'll do our best to provide you with the scripts in June, so stay tuned. 🙏
No. you can't. They are different. '-고 있다' is used to express a continuing ACTION, but '-아/어 있다' expresses a continuing STATE of a completed action. 앉아 있어요 = As a result of the action of sitting down, you're staying sat down. 앉고 있어요 = You're in the process of sitting down. You haven't sat down yet. 가 있어요 = As a result of going, you stay (ahead) there. 가고 있어요 = You're on the way, you haven't arrived yet. Sorry for responding too late, and hope my explanation helps you understand. 😊
Learning has become a lot more fun with short stories where I can understand most of the grammar and vocabulary I learnt. Thank you.

네. 제가 직접 그렸어요. : )
Yes. I drew the illustrations myself. All of the drawings in our videos are my own work. 🧑🎨
@@morip.koreanthat’s very cool! Great job!! Subscribed 😊
The second part which says "Same and Different story" what does it mean?
『Same and Different Stories』 tells the same story in a different way than the first story, such as using a different tense or a different speech level. 😊
있습니다. Is pronounce i-sseu-mi-da. Or
i-sseum-ni-da????
"isseum -Ni-da" is the correct pronunciation. I'll try to pronounce it more accurately next time.

Can't we say 앉고 있어요 instead of 앉아 있어요?
No. you can't. They are different.
'-고 있다' is used to express a continuing ACTION, but '-아/어 있다' expresses a continuing STATE of a completed action.
앉아 있어요 = As a result of the action of sitting down, you're staying sat down.
