Everything's Rosie is a 1931 American Pre-Code slapstick comedy film directed by Clyde Bruckman, from a screenplay by Ralph Spence, Tim Whelan, and Al Boasberg, based on a story by Boasberg. Although the screenplay was credited as original, it bore a striking resemblance to a 1923 play, Poppy, which had starred W.C. Fields.

The film starred Robert Woolsey, one-half of the comedy team of Wheeler & Woolsey, and was an attempt by RKO Radio Pictures to capitalize on the popularity of the comedy duo, having each of the team star in their own solo films. The film also starred Anita Louise and John Darrow, but was a critical failure, although it did manage not to lose money in a year when most RKO films did exactly that. Following the film's disappointing reception, the Wheeler & Woolsey team was quickly reunited, and Everything's Rosie was to be the only film Woolsey ever appeared in without Wheeler.

What a sweet little gem-of-a-movie & how interesting to see a solo Woolsey (but who lands better when comedic foil ‘Wheeler’ is at his side.) Grownup Rosie is a young Anita Louise who loves adopted carnival huckster dad “Doc”. Ppl say this movie rips off W.C.Field’s “Poppy” but I’ve never seen that & was very happy to see this. Two funny lines = Rosie got her name bc she was found under a rose bush prompting Woolsey to quip, “It's lucky she wasn't found under a eucalyptus tree” and “A myth is a female moth.” Rosie ultimately finds love in high society, so wiseacre Woolsey turning into Stella Dallas is so bittersweet all you can say is “Awww😢”

A 'good uploader' would provide a brief synopsis, and the principle stars in their introduction.

I’d bet my bottom dollar 💵 that she didn’t intend to spend that money on Rosie if she had stayed with her. 🤔🤔🤔🙊🙊🙊👋👋👋💵💵💵

At first I was enjoying this movie because I thought that it was so funny and I was trying to think 🤔 of someone I could I could send it to. However, now I’m beginning to think 🤔 that it’s too silly 😜 and I’m embarrassed 🙈 for anyone to see that I thought it was funny. Actually it’s so silly 😜 that I wouldn’t finish watching it except for I want to see how they wind up with each other so that it will have a happy ending in spite of her professor? 😮😮😮😮
