I wonder if Malia and Sasha realized how very special this was. Paul just serenaded their Mom. Very cool, Sir Paul.
I can’t imagine anything more humbling than sitting in front of Sir Paul McCartney serenading me and my family. What an honor!!!
Paul, I can't imagine what my life would have been without you and the Beatles and the Wings. I can't thank you enough!
And the wings?

At 64 , still can't pass up a chance to watch Sir Paul, songbook of my life,.. thank you sir

Very beautiful
True that!
No one gives me more chills than The Beatles music….
Absolutely true
🥶😰😱😶🌫️
Oh yeah yeah yeah
Paul’s voice is beautiful
It doesn’t matter how many times you hear Paul sing he just seems to blow it out of the park every time!!!!!
Funny you say that.....I saw SIR PAUL & his GREAT BAND @ Fenway Park and he BLEW IT OUT OF THE PARK.
I believe the expression is "hit it out of the park".
@@lcdata1 omg.. when was Paul here!???
SO TRUE MAN SO TRUE
I m with you wow!!!
So sad that Mr. McCartney's mum died, not knowing that she'd given birth to arguably, the most successful and loved composer and performer of the 20th century.
@MusicMadMaurice And Paul remembered in Here Today -- what about the night they cried together.
Good said
It is these great sadnesses which make the great artists of the world. Out of sadness comes something beautiful for replacement. Paul asks John in song, remember the night we cried -- they both lost their mums at an early age and it affected them both deeply.
@@TheBluewaterBlonde Very true...That was the bond in the beginning that made them feel like brothers. Then the magic happened.
Not just the 20th century. All time.
I was born in 53, grew up with the Beatles, learned to love, and respect people every where. There music touched me in a special way.
I was born in 53 and sat in front of the TV watching The Beatles on Ed Sullivan. I immediately fell in love with Paul. Those beautiful eyes and great smile. I love him as much now as I did then. What a gentleman and musical genius. Such a beautiful heart.
i am born 55 and also grow up with Beatles music and of cuorse Stones and al aver popband in that time , but Beatles stick aut bec al wonderful songs and lyricks in the songs and the films. it's be my favo in the yuong adgess, i see Paul in realety in Gothenburg 2005 i think , i be so mutch feeling so i almust break down, i love him and the Beatles, beatles songs and Sir pauls songs NEVER be forgotten , i am sure abaut that, than'ks Sir Paul and The BEATLES. :)

Fantástico. Inolvidable, reconfortante.

To live too, Along with George, John and Ringo. For sure.
God: You got 10.
Bravo Paul Mc Cartney, long live the world's musical genius! We love you so much!
Seeing Paul sing Let it Be in front of the painting of George Washington gives me a wave of comfort for the times to come.
Agree…seeing Paul in the White House in front of George Washington….strangely gives me hope for America still…..as counrtintuitive as it must seem to the founding fathers who fought against the British. This too shall pass…
The irony is that the portrait of GW was saved by Dolly Madison before the British stormed the White House and practically burned it to the ground.
I regret the day when we will be without him. He is one of the most talented musicians/artists of all time. His talent transcends politics.
What an apt song before barrack obama.
Absolutely, I pride myself on knowing my music and the artists who perform it.
Paul has it all. Looks ( so cute still ), a great writer, voice, sounds the same, on stage ( a genius ).
Love Wings also.
Music, Dancing, Concerts.
CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT THEM. THANK YOU MY LORD FOR ALL THE BLESSINGS YOU HAVE GIVEN ME. JEWELS 🎸🎼🎤
I can't even imagine my life without Zep. OLD and new. Saw PAGE & Plant Boston Garden ( that's not what they call it now ) it will always be the Garden to me. John Bonham s son on drums. What can I say " I floated out of there. " I can't ever get enough of them. That's why out of all the great bands of that time , Led Zeppelin will always be my favorite.
I've seen them all.
Still my most FAVORITE THING TO DO IN LIFE.
THANKS FOR GETTING BACK TO ME. THANK YOU LORD JESUS, my best friend. I couldn't do it without you.

@@arautus of any century, name someone better !!
@@micheldoct7105 maybe Mozart , but that's not my style!
This is one of my favorite songs, but it means so much more to me after learning from Paul that this song was based on a visit from his dead mother one night when he was depressed and upset over what was going on with his life at the time. Suddenly, his mother, who had died over a decade earlier, appeared to him and told him to just "Let it Be", which soothed him and gave him peace about the situation. It all worked out. Several of his songs were based on spiritual experiences, like when he woke up with the tune Yesterday in his head and, after finding it wasn't someone else's song, he wrote it down.
The interview I heard with Paul, he said he dreamed of his mother coming to him and speaking to him one night.
He is just utter class ! Best musician and songwriter ever ! Nobody will surpass him !

Yes,a good singer
Paul Mcartney, is the best musician, music writer and lyric writer of our time , I have been a fan since the 60's ( I was in liverpool as well), his music then is still great today and his music now is also excellent.
Sir Paul Mcartney! Legend! Great composer, writer and singer with great voice until today! God Bless you!💞🇵🇭

What a charming person. A gift to the world.
Paul is incredibly talented and one of a kind
In 1000 years time people will still be listening to Sir Paul McCartney and loving every song. Just remember folks we got to listen to him and the various bands he played in when he was alive and well. I grew up in the 60s when the Beatles was playing on every radio station, happy days!

And of course, Valentine day from the McCartney album, and a jam called A Fine day
Furthermore, he co-wrote A day in the life and Day tripper, contributed to A hard day’s night, and gave Kanye West a basis for All day
As long as Ringo is willing to transmit his eternal life force, Paul will live
A living legend, pure genius, it's a shame that one day this man won't be around. God bless Paul and of course the rest of the Beatles x
What a neat privilege to perform in the White House!! Paul did NOT disappoint!! I live him soo much!! 😘😘😘😘❤❤❤❤

The moment, the song, the feel - I'm in heaven and seeing Paul still doing this even at his age is amazing :)
He just simply LOVES what he does!
I will never tired to hear his song over and over again long live Sir Paul 🙏
Guess did Paul think when he wrote Michelle he would sing it in front of the first lady of USA 40 years later?
no
actually, "michelle" was released in 1965 on RUBBER SOUL album
He actually used the 'prototype' of the song, long before the song released, to impress girls at parties
Maybe.
Hard to believe that this was 10 years ago. Where did the time fly? Thank you Paul (with the Beatles) for inspiring me and my past mates to start rock bands back in the '60s. I have many of your solo LPs still. As Ringo would say....Peace & Love.
There will never be another band like the Beatles. The press back in 1966 cornered John Lennon asking him how long do you think the band will last? His answer was who wants to hear an 80 yr. Old Beatle singing. Little did John know his soulmate Paul is still singing and I love it! They left a legacy that will never die. And I'm proud to have lived as a teenager loving and listening to all of their music.privileged would be a better word. RIP John and George.
2019 and I’m literally watching this with tears, paul till i die ❤️
Eleanor Rigby is still one of the most beautiful and poignant songs ever written.
Paul truly sings in the moment with the song inspiring him. Thank you for this clip in the White House.

@@timothyshawnjohnston278 seems true...Eric, Tom, Paul, And some others never lose their voices a bit !
Unfortunately, Paul's voice in 2020 is pretty much gone. :(
@@sx20RamarAge gets us all. But for someone 77 years old with a career spanning from the 50s to 2020, his singing is great. And people know that he has not the power of his younger days, but still you come to see one of the giants. I have seen some Jazz musicians far beyond their heydays, but them had this magic aura. Barney Bigard, clarinet player in the Ellington band of the 30/40s, he had even worked for King Oliver and Jelly Roll Morton, not to mention Louis Armstrong, didn't play well anymore when I saw him, but he had the gravitas of history on stage. It was not akward at all, he enjoyed being on stage instead of a graveyard, and we in the audience loved him for what once had been. ruclips.net/video/gnqWDfqVmbM/видео.html

Of all time? Well…
@@PaulZink At least most commercial succesfull...
She was a nurse midwife, an intelligent person herself.
@@PaulZink Well I mean, whenever you look up greatest musician of all time, next to classical musicians like Mozart and Beethoven, you get the Beatles. Even then, 90% of the time classical musicians aren’t included and the Beatles are left at number 1. So I’d say since Paul was part of the Beatles, yes he’s the greatest musician of all time, as well as the other band members.
@@atasteofhoney6018 When you look up "greatest musician of all time, you'll get a choice of polls taken predominantly of young people whose knowledge of music is mainly limited to pop and rock, so of course within those parameters, the Beatles should rank as #1 (there will be dissenters that).
Any serious musician with any historical knowledge of music will most likely tell you it's a question that's really impossible to answer. However, if pressed, many will say J.S. Bach, (assuming you count composers as "musicians")-and probably Paul McCartney would agree with that.
Living legend!!!
The Beatles has conquered the world through their Music in the 60's. Afterwhich they continued to rock the world individually. Even John, himself, is amazed by this accomplishment during one of his interviews, sometimes around 75-76's.
