@@jayreyes9763 I was able to start without a therapist letter, and just signed for informed consent. I'd say if you're looking into it, call the doctors and ask about their policies

same here, started T literally 3 day ago, nothing has visibly changed yet but i just KNOW inside that I'm FINALLY on T! i feel so confudent rn. my dysphoria has already started to feel better because at least i know I'm already on T, even if I don't see any changes

I just did my second shot yesterday and I'm so, so, so freaking excited for these changes. Especially my voice changing because I'm tired of my voice breaking the illusion of my appearance. Next thing I'm excited for is facial hair. I cannot wait.

I started t today (04/03/2024)!!! I came out in July 2019 and I’ve been so excited for this moment :’)
I’ve been out to my mom for a whole year, and when I graduated I came out to my whole family (aunts, cousins, distant cousins, ALL of them) and before I was out to them, me and my mom never really talked about me being trans, but she was supportive. After graduation we actually started talking about it and she got me my first binder, AND today she talked to me about getting me started on T and I’m so excited

I started going to the gym around 2 months ago, really trying to get gain like you are and really boost my confidence and become more disciplined. Before I started working out i weighed a mere 129 lbs but now I'm up to 141 lbs Because I actually started to eat well, get enough sleep and train harder. I still have a long way to go and simply just being on testosterone does not give you gains you have to WORK your butt off for it. Thank you for this video bro, I have been on T a couple years however videos like these were so helpful to me back when I first started and I hope that fellow trans dudes who are looking to transition and are mentally prepared enough to, receive an awesome education from this.🙌

Yesterday was my first full day on T. I’m super excited to finally start seeing the effects after a while. As for the confidence it’s 100% a thing. At least for me knowing things will change over time has given me so much confidence! It’s crazy.

i did my first dose May 26th. it’s only been a week and i def feel more confident. i def was salivating a lot after my first shot. and i look in the mirror every morning as if the changes will happen over night! 😭 i’ve noticed i have been having hot flashes like crazy and i’ve been sleeping deeper? like i always had trouble staying asleep but now i’m getting full nights rest. perhaps due to feeling mentally healthier? also. i’ve noticed my urine and sweat is much stronger. i have to put deodorant before bed or i’ll wake up in a pool of sweat. sorry if this is TMI!

It's funny how as a content creator you will have absolutely no idea how many people you'd positively influence. Your only motivation would be to just pass on information with a good intention, but that does crazy energy uplifting for complete strangers around the world. Keep up man, proud of you. I just took first shot about an hour ago, biggest thing! if your taking them in your side, it doesn’t hurt at all!!! At least it didn’t for me! i bled a tiny bit and it burned a bit near the end of the meditation going in, but other then that was painless and essentially easy and simple!!!!
Went to planned Parenthood on Monday and the prescription has been going to the wrong places. And I get my prescription tomorrow

I’m half a month on T started April 1 and let’s just say voice is already changing and peach fuzz is gettin thick. Hope this is normal. Im having very oily skin but I’m working on making sure acne isn’t terrible.

Hey Devon I’m just going on 8 months on testosterone and my throat is hurting a lot. Dry no matter how much water I drink and sometimes feel like behind my ears are hurting. Not sick. Have you experienced this feeling before? I also noticed two weeks ago I’ve grown a little Adam’s apple😲 Bro my throat! Help!
Hey homie congrats on 8 months. So you actually don’t have the ability to grow an Adam’s apple if you’re taking testosterone post puberty. That’s an anatomical in-capability, some guys do get implants as a masculinizing surgery but if you are post puberty and on T unfortunately that Adam’s apple is placebo.
I mean when I started training and taking T my neck/throat got thicker hence making the appearance of an Adam’s apple but obviously you can’t grow the actual thing.
I’m not sure about the throat and ears that honestly sounds like you’re coming down with something I’ve never heard that anecdote in regards to HRT. I’d go to the doc and make sure you’re not sick 💪🏽

@Lindsey Zeidler you can see how there’s a difference between a cis male and an AFAB persons Adam’s apple I’m sure, and the fact that testosterone doesn’t affect the growth of it. That’s like saying everyone has facial hair, of course but there’s a difference.
I got my 2shot on t. But every time I shot 3 to 4 days I got some bad feelings like palpitation something like that. What do you think of that it is normal? It is ok if I change my testosterone?

i just switched from shots to gel its like i get an energy boost everyday instead of every 2 weeks. i mean its not as strong as the injection but after being on t for a few years i didn't want to give myself shots anymore

I am curious about the gel versus shot, is it the same dose broken down for daily consumption/absorption? Like a shot every two weeks is one way but gel dosed the same for daily? I’m not on it yet and have options, am extremely curious about the effects of each and how much change happens with each. I’m not interested in going slow nor fast forward, just normal?? If that’s a thing?
@@jls769597 well for me personally my shots are every week, not bi-weekly. At first they were bi-weekly however my levels were still too low so my doctor switched the injections to be more frequent and that really boosted my energy/levels. In fact after the change of frequency my monthly death cycles (what I call em) have stopped completely so that is something to definitely look forward to! The changes/responses you get from T definitely do differ from person to person as your genetics and family tree definitely play a big role. For example I have been on T for 2 nearly 3 years now and still do not have any facial hair. Primarily due to the fact that my family isn't very hairy. However, there are other trans men who got facial hair after 2-3 MONTHS. It all depends on genetics, and of course gel isn't as strong as the physical injection so that's something to consider. There are definitely testosterone patches that are an alternative as well! Though I hear people don't like them because of the low dose and it makes it look like a caffeine/smokers patch so...
@@shyryTsr2k wow thank you for explaining all this I really appreciate it! I actually chose the weekly shot in the subcutaneous fat of stomach, had first shot yesterday and the dose was .25 ml. It was amazing I didn’t hurt and I didn’t freak out, normally needles are a bit intimidating. However I was curious and forgot to ask when I should expect the dose to be increased? How much did you first receive and for how long were you on that til it was increased?
Might be starting T tomorrow. I'm superrrr nervous!!! (More so happy but not sure if they'll accept me or not)
