    The one thing that finally put an end to my problem after a decade of struggle was finding a loving partner who is willing to discuss the issue. And discussing sex openly without judgment keeps the problem away. No reason to use and no need to hide my sexual behavior. I guess my reason for using was lack of love.

      Kindly Make a youtube video if possible, explaining how exactly ur partner helped you, what all things did she exactly do & told to you? You two both can make video podcast discussing together, regarding this topic.. thank you..

    H.A.L.T. (Hungry. Angry. Lonely. Tired). Can't recall where I found that but it's helpful dealing with PMO. Biggest step to moving forward is to keep your phone out of the bathroom and to set screen time limits on your phone daily.

    I was first exposed to pornography around the age of 11 at random when up late at night watching television (back when the internet didn’t exist). Slowly I sought without even knowing more and more hardcore content to satisfy my selfish desires. This addiction coupled with masturbation greatly impacted the course of my life and I’m still to date struggling to shake free… over the last 20 years I’ve only been able to go maybe 1 - 1.5 months without relapsing. This community gives my faith the genuine change is possible, thanks for all the work u do

    I think it is very important to remember that neglect and trauma is very closely linked to addiction and substance abuse. People always forget this especially in this circle.
    If you keep using (like myself) and are having serious issues in everyday life functioning in society then the addiction is a symptom.

    I appreciated this video! I would also add to the list of steps that for those that suspect that this is a "deeper rooted" addiction, there are support groups out there. There are SAA and SA meetings all throughout the world, and these are designed to give people a safe space to discuss this matter as well as provide a constructive environment for those seeking recovery. Lets give love a chance!

    This was validating advice, thank you. 68 days abstinence from porn (my best ever - before that 50 days about a year ago) and then a relapse when hungover last weekend. I told myself that I haven't failed, that I just need to stand up again.
    Counting the days is something that I am doing for now but I don't expect to have to do this forever because of my previous experience breaking my nicotine addiction a few years ago now. With that, I managed to change the idea of cigarettes into something disgusting. I have been repeating a mantra for more porn habit recently, taken from Terry Crews: 'there will never be enough'. Saying that seems to disarm my craving because I realise that there is no point in watching porn because I will never be satisfied.

      Well said and inspiring. My record is 27 days and it was over 10 years ago... I dont want to count the days... I want to make it a personal identity of mine.

    I pray. Every time I have had a sexual urge recently I have said “ My urges are strong but Jesus is stronger “ when your urges become strong try chanting this and once the urge passes thank God for the opportunity to do better.

    • @Eric_Bassett

      But then it was god was it not.. who designed human beings to have said urges. If nobody wanted to have sex then humanity would dwindle and die off. Corn may not be a natural medium, but those urges are as primal and as natural as it gets. More so then the urge to consume alcohol, smoke weed, or do any other sort of drugs. This is a rather complex topic. I’m simply trying to say, it all comes full circle. How could god make you the way you are and then judge you for being human.

    They go there expecting innocent kissing and touching and normal intimacy. But it's not love it's just objectification.
    In real love, the partner that you love will make you learn more bout yourself.
    In a real love relationship, you start loving yourself more because what you give you get back from your partner and teenagers should be taught it in schools
    and in institutions and from parents, mentors, etc.

    • @Eric_Bassett
      @Eric_Bassett 3 месяца назад

      Eh, I wouldn’t say all corn is pure objectification. That’s like saying all movies are about violence. It’s a generalization and ultimately your currently on a channel that will only ever highlight negative experiences.
