  • Tad and I take a ride on FRO Dark Water trail head. We find an old abandoned Marion 7400 dragline and the vast area it stripped out to create this awsome array of obsticles and photo-ops! But there is more!
This is a series of trailheads in the area, each with their own history left behind!

My boyfriend's brother worked in that area. He would climb up the boom to service it(grease it). This was in the '70's.

They have about 30% of Darkwater closed for mining. Very disappointing season at Darkwater.

There is a sweet overlook up top of the bottom rock above the mud bogs. It is sick! You cant get to it right now as it closed for mining. @43:13…right above you guys.

The Wimsey and Kelly Hallow is to pretty cool spots. There is a spot in upper east darkwater with another bottom rock.
