Both the British & then sometime later the Americans when passing through this area looted these wrecks for spare parts. Both countries needing spare parts to run & test their captured Tigers, stopped at Hunts Gap to aquire what they needed. I have often wondered weather there is anything left of the Tigers still in that location. The scrapping of the wrecks being difficult in such a location, they may have just dug holes & bulldozed them in!!!!
