    Hey , brother if you have good basic surf skills ,the ability to do roundhouse cutties,and the concept of pumping the board to get speed,is it a hard transition to a foil board from so called standard paddle type arrangement?

    • @kiterJ
      @kiterJ 2 месяца назад

      Nah bro, you'll be fine and love it. Do with your front foot what you'd do with your back foot 'normal' surfing for those turns 🤙

      @tomoearl  2 месяца назад +1

      @@nedcampbell6851 hey mate, it's a steep learning curve but surfing skills transition and help the journey heaps. The harder transition is actually going back to surfing after foiling for ages re tuning in the nuance of how to use the rail especially surfing on smaller waves. It comes back quite quickly if u get back to surfing a quality powerful wave

    Its amazing to me that there hasn't been a greater take up of foiling by surfers. You see all the surfers crammed into one spot whereas a foiler can be out enjoying this sort of travel and freedom.

      @tomoearl  2 месяца назад

      @@Toastypie1I agree surfing quality uncrowded waves is hard to beat but foiling is way more fun to beat crowds and surf generally more mush

      @@Jonpilo-uz1yf yeah tried the 750 feels like a really good allround pumps a little easier. I ride the eagles if I'm riding smaller waves and want more lift/pump
