@@Stanton_High really surprising how versatile that wing is! Great bottom and the pitch stability gives me a lot of confidence to push my riding rather than be nervous to control the foil.
Great review mate. Man that tow boogie looks so fun! Just commuting to the spot haha. Swapping gear on the beach. Unreal! You answered my question about the dart 120 whistle here too. Sounds like yours was doing the same. I feel the same on every thing you said. Insane turning. Definitely a touch more lift and fast for the lower aspect but I agree lost a touch of glide from the 140. Definitely keeping the 140 for dw for now but the 120 is my new favorite in the surf. So good for proning! Can’t wait to try the 480 when we get them here in Hawai’i.
Great review, Oskar. The 680 has been my favorite but I can see getting a smaller foil for the big days. The 120 tail is also on my list. Take my money, Armie
Nice easy watching there Oskar! Question , what’s the advantage of that thicker tow rope and handle upgrade? (I use a boogie around the reefs here in Midwest W.A.)
Cheers mate! I use the thicker tow rope because it has the double handle and just makes it easier on my front arm and can hold on at the start with two hands. It also has some stretch in it which just makes it smoother in choppy water, just less jerky.
Awesome review and what a beautiful spot! Winging 480/120 combo as my daily driver now, insane how easy it is to use. Agreed 120 has less glide than 140 but what you get in return is pretty rad 🤙🤙🤙 yeaaawwwww
I haven’t taken it off since I filmed this… absolutely love the setup! That 120 has possibly the least cons to any piece of foil equipment I’ve tried, really blew me away! Glad to hear we’re ending up on the same page
Awesome review, do you go 4 in the tracks only for towing on the smaller board or do you use 4 when proning as well? I've seem some with it all the way forward on these boards, what's the best for pumping and turns? Cheers
Yeah I ride with my mast at 4 for both prone and towing. If I want a little easier pump I sometimes slide my mast up to 5, but thats about the only change. Having your mast forward gives you front foot pressure and a little easier yaw during your turns. But I find having it back gives you a little more pitch stability and drive. I also ride fairly small foils so having the extra speed just makes them a little pitchier so I like to tone them back a little.
I’ve only got experience on the HA195, V200, Surf 205, 235, and 232. I just got a 120 to try. Right off the bat you can tell it has high camber just like the HAv2. I’d imagine that what’s makes it so good on the bottom. Gonna go try it prone tomorrow
13:00 1/4 of a degree nose up! You can’t get more precise than that:)
Love your work!!
could tell that 480 was fire on that first wave. the whole setup is inspiring.

680 is such an allrounder for so many people I've talked to. The HAs in general are just so versatile covering more conditions!
Amazing review as always! I didn't know that you also falling while foiling :)
@@foilingportugal haha we all fall! Thanks mate 🙏

I really liked it🤙, thank you very much🤲. If what microphone do you record in water?
Its actually still just a gopro for audio, but I use the voice isolator plugin in Davinci resolve to remove with wind noise.
Fantastic report Oscar!!
Good audio Too!!
what is that tugboat!!??😁
very interesting 🤙🤙

Great review Oskar, what microphone are you using?
With how well the V2s are, I would imagine the 480 has a similar stall speed to a 725?
Do you wingfoil also?
I do, a fair amount actually. But I never really post anything with my winging. Love it though!
1:03 oh Shark!?! :O
South coast is full of sharks. People should stay away ;)
@@alonbrasington6703 agree!! You’d have to be mad to come foil down there 😝
