I wish our department did similar type of videos. South Metro really seem like they have their stuff together.
Best Department in the Rocky Mountains honestly
Great video! I'm friends with Rodney. Wishing you all the best on your work and all the content on the channel.
I'd work at 17. I love the home-y feel.
What a professional crew! Loved the tour
My brother and sister in law live a mile away from 17, and see/ hear them constantly. We have a family friend who was based at 17 for years when it was Littleton Fire Rescue.
Man I’d love a tour of that medic unit...thing looks like a beast!
There was one on Medic 18 which is the same as Medic 17
@@anton2006 oh that was 18, I thought that was 17
@@offended9081 The medic that was shown in the video is Medic 17 but there has been a fleet friday on Medic 18 which I believe is Medic 17's twin so they have the same things on it.
Please do fleet fridays on your specialised apparatus like collapse 45 or foam 46
Hello everybody at Firehouse 17 from my fiancee and myself to all from Brunswick (20 miles south), OH. I'm waiting on an opening to work for South Metro Fire Rescue. Happy Easter to all at SMFR. :)
OMG YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS i relly want to now more about station 21 i wonder how many things have changed since it was cunningham fire rescue
Thank you Kim Connor and Eric from your friend Kyle
I love this channel and all its content I want to be a firefighter when I’m older so I love watching this stuff
Love this series is it possible to start doing 24 hours alongside crews.
It seems South Metro covers a very large area, curiosity speaking, how many counties or parts of counties do you all cover? It seems huge. I love the videos. I wish I was a kid again so I could go out there and apply!
Is there a trophy for department with the most side burns jezuz you guys I feel like it’s the 99 again
Could you do a day in the life at station 17? I’d like to go on a ride a long at 17
I would love a fleet friday on the decon vehicle and the medic unit for station 17.
Is that a Fire Department Coffee sticker on the toolbox at 10:30? :D
Where?
@@BuildItBricks left side on the toolbox.
On PulsePoint what dose bu stand for for example smbu22
That stands for South Metro Bureau 22 which is an investigator from south metro's Bureau office
Tip: the drone should be able to do an orbit on its own.. so the jumpy orbit shouldn't be an issue
I like the subtle flex of men's bathroom being bigger. lol
Can we do a fleet Friday on the white truck
Hello!Im from Russia!)
Да ну

You guys should do challenge coins for south metro
Got Ray Romano as a firefighter ?
i'm curious. The Lt. said the medic unit is hard staffed with 2 and the engine is staffed with 4. So do the firefighters bounce between rigs depending on type of call or are there 6 personal at station 17
Hard staffed means that there are specific personnel assigned to those rigs so there is a total of 6 personnel at the station fully staffing the engine and medic. All South Metro medic units are hard staffed so the firefighters are not usually switching between the two. The brush truck and decon unit are cross-staffed by the engine crew which means that the engine crew will bounce to those units if they are needed.
Cool station!
Slightly unrelated question: Was Brush 18 recently reassigned to station 14?
Yes brush 18 was reassigned to station 14 because station 18 was converting from a brush station back to normal station since station 20 was built and it is a brush station and there was no need for Brush 18
Thank you for the info!
I thought this week was fleet Friday???
No today is saturday, its Station Saturdation
@@landonpalmer7662 damn right

I wanna be a mortician and a firefighter 😂😂😂at the same time
Volunteer service might fit you well. You could keep your day job and still be able to work as a firefighter.
@@KomradeDoge a mortician works really long hours even overnight to prepare dead bodies but I wish
Frecherylb 24 sick cold fever chkpoox ❤
Why are you guys at half mast?
Because of the Boulder Shooting and the 10 people who were killed including an officer
Shouldn't they also be half last for the USCP officer killed yesterday the house requested all flags be at half mast?
@@Pokey7064 Yes that is probably also another reason
@@Pokey7064 These videos are filmed days or even weeks in advance because the editing process takes a lot of time. The video was completed and uploaded on the same day as the Capitol incident, so there is just not enough time to film and edit it in that time. Flags in Colorado were at half-staff between March 23rd through April 1st for the Boulder incident and is when the video was most likely filmed.
What units are at station 37
@@SouthMetroFireRescuePIO WOW no suppression unit i wonder how it is not like greenwood village rescue squad
That Lt.. such a hottie 😳🤤
Eric who drives pio 11 pio 10 and pio 13
Eric drives PIO10, Connor drives PIO11, and Kim drives PIO13 which is the part time PIO vehicle
Why is the engine park so far back?
tattooed freak. good vid, overall.
Y’all better subscribe to them if not already
I would NEVER hire a guy with that much shit on his arm and hands. WTF is this department thinking with that.
