During the recent Voodoo Music Experience New Orleans, artists stopped by the American Express® ZYNC ZONE, to chat with SPIN about their 2010 festival experiences and much more, among them Metric -- watch our video interview, plus performance footage below!
Metric dropped into the Voodoo Festival fresh off a tour with Muse complete with "towers, lights, and lasers" according to vocalist Emily Haines.
She also said festivals like Voodoo are a great chance for the band to catch up with other artist pals. "I love festivals because I love my friends that are musicians and I don't get to see them anywhere else, sadly," she said.
The band recently contributed music to the Twilight film franchise, and when asked whether she was Team Edward or Jacob, Haines instead name-checked another film featuring Metric tunes: "I answer that question with... Team Scott Pilgrim!" she said.
