It’s amazing that Ric Flair is still with us.
🐐🐐🐐
Even Ozzy eased off and got sober but Ric is probably going to just full throttle until he dies... in his 90's!
He’s still with us because of the drinking.
@@NeiltheDeal facts
if you see him on kill tony, he's barely with us
Kurt angle seems like such a nice dude no real ego
He is the man, look at his life story, guy touched greatness that is unreachable for 99% of people and then hit rock bottom and came back from it….
Usually recovered addicts are.
I live in Pittsburgh and Kurt Angle is obviously from here so he's in town quite a bit. A cool guy from all accounts.
Very likable dude and very humble
@@Free2Dice cut the 💩. You obviously have never had to live with serious life altering pain
Ric drinks vodka cranberry for the vitamins and minerals.
Antioxidants. Good for urinary infections, too!
What you got a bladder infection?
That makes sense 👌
and the vodka
Kamakazees was his drink too
I saw him once at the Raleigh-Durham airport. Probably around 1989. In full Flair regalia. He never turned away one person who wanted an autograph, picture or to just say hello. Class act.
Yeah he’s a class act sexual predator
Sure you did
Doesn't seem too farfetched to me
Sounds about right. My mom saw him at a concert in Charlotte almost 20 years ago. He was with who is now an ex wife and some of his children (and apparently was very drunk). When my mom approached him the ex wife tried turning her away and saying they were out spending time together as a family and that he doesn’t want to be bothered, and in the middle of the rant Ric cut her off and said people like these are who made me what I am today and I’ll always have time for them, then proceeded to talk to her for a minute before taking a picture and signing an autograph. Still have them both
@@LankyBeanss “….apparently was very drunk…”
It’s Flair, there’s no “apparently” involved. 😂
Poor ric just never wants to be alone 🥺
I know how he feels
It’s because we’ve been alone too long. I understand him.

It's so cool Kurt angle showed up for Tonys interview!
After a few beers I don't think I could tell Joe and Kurt apart they look so alike😁.

It’s called tolerance, which is what alcoholics are known for.
love that Kurt is wearing a Dave Shultz shirt. OGs know.
Tru
I can't believe Joe never asked him about Dave or Foxcatcher or the Schultz, etc.
I'll bet John Stossel isn't liking it after Dr. Dave Schultz slapped the taste out of his mouth back in the '80s!
The Dave Schultz shirt Kurt is wearing is in reference to the amateur wrestler/coach who just happens to have the same name as the pro wrestler Dr. D. He was murdered in 1996.
Or anyone that's seen Foxcatcher...
A" gaggle of geese?" 😆 nicely put Tony
As an amateur wrestler up until high school, was humbled attempting placement in college. Kurt Angle is definitely the greatest of all time. He’s really a legend, had no flaws on offense or defense. Then transitioned perfectly into Professional Wrestling, while still hanging true to his roots, and helping pioneer actual wrestling into the Sports Entertainment.
I mostly agree and Angle is one of my favourite ever but wrasslin had its roots in amateur wrestling, Stu Hart for example was an amateur wrestler in the 30s which ultimately resulted in Bret Hart having the style he had. Back in the day most people thought professional wrestling was real and many many wrestlers went from amateur to professional. There were many others before Bret Hart.
He’s 74 years old and living life his way. He’s going out on his own terms and I think you have to respect that.
Why doesn’t his son get the same respect?
@@MMAKOTV never heard of him, that’s probably why
@@MMAKOTV wow, I just found out that “his son” died of an overdose in 2013. That’s some seriously dark humor man and I’m not even cracking a smile at that one. I’m probably responding to some 12 year old punk, but if you ever do grow up and have kids you will learn that people’s kids are off limits…even slow ones like you. And especially if they’ve passed away before their parents. No parent should have to bury their child. Leave Ric Flair alone and all the respect to him and his son, May he RIP! WHOOOOOOOOO
Amen. I don’t know why Flair attracts so many hater comments. He’s the man.
He's the man!
"he told me he was only making 600k a year"
Me in my head " I need a better job"
and rogans shocked wow lmao i love when people havent been broke in so long 600k a year sounds rough
And $600K in 1993 is like 1.3 M now.
Compare that to what Austin made in 1998 though. Austin probably made double that from t-shirt sales.

@@ibberman600k in 1993 is like x7 what it is now. Waaaay more than 1.2 mil
My dad was literally the same way as Ric Flair but sadly his heart gave out at 63. My dad loved Ric Flair too. He brought me to a wrestling match at the TD Garden in Boston when I was a kid and I saw Ric Flair’s bare ass when Bret Hart pulled down his shorts and sadly I was on the side where we all saw it.😂 at all the weddings in bars everyone with flock to my dad, because he was a big Irish guy, and always told the funniest stories and bought everyone drinks. I love not knowing any rappers that came out beyond 2005. That name sounds ridiculous.
He’s a former gangster rapper but since then he has become a public advocate for financial intelligence and healthy living for the past several years. Pretty cool dude

It’s funny how Tony is the one talking the entire clip and his name isn’t in the title lol
What’s crazy is Rics discipline. I stayed at the Hyatt regency in Columbus Ohio, Ric happened to be there too. He partied most of the night but was up at 4:30am looking sharp as ever heading out to the airport for his flight. It was insane!

I was a chef at the Marriott waterfront hotel in Baltimore back in 2004 and I met Ric Flair sitting at our hotel bar lol his arms where huge
I got to meet him in Scottsdale AZ once when he was at a nightclub here. He is an absolute riot to hang out with.
Ric Flair would make a great 'Better Call Saul' type show and storyline
Flair embodies a wrestler who became the gimmick in real life. How Flair is still living with his lifestyle is a miracle. Dude has been drunk every day since 1974. Especially now that he's not wrestling anymore, his entire life is just a debauchery filled party. Tony said that him and Flair day drank from 130-8 and he was still sober after 17 vodka cranberries. You know you drink a lot when your bodies tolerance to alcohol is 17 vodka cranberries worth.
If we were talking about Andre the Giant i might believe that but there is no way in hell that Ric Flair can drink 17 vodka cranberries and still be sober
@@daltontannery3243He may not have been sober but he wasn’t stumbling drunk either.
And not many could outdrink Slick Ric, but Andre was one of them. Andre could kill 2 cases of beer and not even stop to take a piss.
@@zlinedavid I've seen that video lol that man not only drank 2 cases of beer and didn't have to piss, he actually drank all 48 of them on an 85 mile trip. Andre was a different kind of breed

Whats amazing from Ric Flair on his hey day is he came to the arena drunk, but on the ring he's outworking every top wrestler in the teritory. And NWA and unlike WWE, their watch can last up to 40 minutes to one hour. His endurance despite his lifestyle is insane
“I do 500 free squats a day, no matter what”; that’s probably the key to his cardio in the ring
@@rugger104500 free squats in addition to all that bedroom cardio. 😂
Flair was more of a calisthenics guy. He may have lifted weights at some points but he was always doing cardio , like stairs. Calisthenics, long term, are great for the heart.
He said free squats were his favorite exercise and he would do a minimum of 500 a day.
@@bryguy4446 yeah exactly this is probably one of the reasons why he’s still kicking today.

He has alcoholic cardiomyopathy and had a heart attack is 2022.

It is crazy how people romanticise alcoholism
Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Space Mountain:"Oldest ride in the park, with the longest line!"
I'd be out getting drunk all day everyday to try to forget those hard years I was only making 600k too, poor Ric
600K goes fast in that type of lifestyle and cocaine ain’t cheap I believe it goes for like 20K a kilogram
He was spending a lot on robes, dress suits, alcohol. Many wrestlers who look up to him made more. Kurt was offered more by WWF and turned it down. Then he accepted a far lesser offer years later.
It's like when the Bulls were paying Michael Jordan 3 million a year and rookies who never amounted to anything were getting 20 million a year for five years. Sure Jordan banked on his shoes but he was way under paid for his basketball and the audience he brought to the sport.

What a character.
What amazes me is that he's 74 and still got game. WOO!
He nearly didn't. About five years ago, he was put into a chemically-induced coma because his organs were nearly shutting down. Ric Flair has always had a drink problem. He admitted to a sports psychologist in 1987 that he drank around 10 beers and about six cocktails or mixes drinks a day. That WILL kill you eventually.
@@greatblah1202 Yea but honestly he made it to freaking 74 years old despite his crazy lifestyle. People usually drink themselves to death way younger than that.

Seen Ric at a bar in Tampa recently. I badly wanted to go up to him to say Hi and get a wooooo but he was with his people and didnt want to annoy him. Figure that guy has to deal with that every single day kf his life.
The reason he didn't seem drunk is because Undertaker said it best, Ric lies about drinking all night when you're not looking he throws the shots over his shoulder or dumps the drink on the ground in a plant or in another glass on a random table
Where he say that
Brings a whole new meaning to "I spent more on spilt liquor than you have on new shoes."
Kevin Nash also said the same thing on his podcast
