Manju Mai is the best character in the movie for me..
The best part was when Phool offers her the first bite of Kalakand and she refuses saying I have nothing special left in my life to sweeten my mouth. But Manju Mai eats kalakand once she hears the news of Phool safely reaching her new home.
Phool was really special to her n she loved her like her own grandchild.
Yes at the end of this film when Manju Mai tastes the kalakand is very heart warming.

The tea lady Manju Mai has a heart of gold which she hids with her tough exterior. The way she cares for the girl is touching.
We meet so many people like Manju Mai for a cup of tea and pakodas at railway stations, but our interactions are so short that we seldom get to know their life stories, the struggles they are facing and the courage with which they are making a living. Chhaya Kadam should get awards for her brilliant acting as Manju Mai. She brought so much life into the character that I felt her as a real person, someone who I can talk to in my next visit to a railway station. Her performance and honesty in dialogue delivery were phenomenal! The last scene where she eats the kalakand and gets teary-eyed made me emotional. She is the best character in the movie!

It is A good story of Two families who's Brides who got Exchanged in train , due to veil on their face, but It is a Moral story too at the end. IT deserves OSCAR

Phool got such an amazing lesson from dadi ma,
She really took it well so she refused take the help of her husband while stepping out from rickshaw in last scene.
What I loved about this story was when a young girl got lost there were humans to help her… most of the time what we see even in reality is evil. But in this movie there were humans who had helped and taken care of both girls…
Manju Tai, characterized as the strong-willed yet tender-hearted figure, steers the beautiful direction. Phool acquires all her skills from her mother but struggles with self-reliance and confidence. When she faces setbacks at a new railway platform long distance away from her home, she encounters a mother who instills in her the value of independence. Meanwhile, Manju Tai finds the pure love of a daughter, filling a void left by loneliness. The bond between mother and daughter compels them to confront each other characters. Phool brings out a nurturing side lovaable mother from Manju Tai, while Manju Tai imparts valuable life lessons to Phool. The direction of their story is truly remarkable.

Loved the movie. Loved all the characters... Pushpa , the intelligent... Phool , the masoom lovable girl ... Manju maai , the iron lady with a golden heart .... Police chief , who does a u- turn at the end. Men will accept this movie if it has 2 item nos and had showed that a women must always be a doormat for their man. In that lies her glory...... This was a wonderful movie to watch.
But women also did not go to watch the movie in theater and make it a box office hit, probably they were waiting for their boyfriends or husbands to take them to theater 😂

She doesn’t know where her own village is and where the village of her own husband is but wants praise for knowing how to cook, how to sew and how to sing Bhajans (and none of those skills are helping her in this situation).
