The Wicked Kitchen/ Foods shelf stable one is truly awful but they have a fresh one (that I’m guessing might get a bit less fresh travelling across the Atlantic!) that’s genuinely nice. I’m still sad that we can’t get the Amy’s one in most of the UK now as easily as we used to as I loved that.
I don’t think I could have taste tested all of these - well done all of you! And 🏆 to whoever did all the cooking and clean up!
I’m happy that Pastabilities and Goodles are dry packaged - they might end up in Aus because they’re easy to ship! 😀🤞

I love this but I'm so sad you missed the Field Roast Chao Mac n Cheese - you seem to have bought it, it's on the stacks in the intro - but it wasn't tested. It's my personal favorite too, although I haven't tried all these other options but it's definitely superior to Daiya imo.

I haven’t tried the original vegan Kraft Mac and Cheese, but I recently tried their collaboration with NotCo. It is officially my favorite boxed mac and cheese, but I’m not surprised as NotCo makes my favorite plant based milk. It doesn’t have the weird taste/aftertaste so many vegan mac and cheese has. I live in small town Wisconsin, so I have to depend on Amazon to get both the mac and cheese and the milk, but it’s worth it.

Wow, I'm surprised that the Kraft Mac and Cheese wasn't great. The mac and cheese I've eaten the most is the Annie's "original" Vegan Mac (you had the cup, I buy the box) which is what you'd think the Kraft would have been like lol. I usually skip any plant milk or butter but I add salt. I've chosen it the most from available in-store options because it's less calories and fat, but I didn't realize the ingredients were somewhat poor.
Vegan products cost quite a lot. I've come to the conclusion that it's because they sometimes go hand-in-hand with also being organic and sometimes gluten free to offer a 3-in-1 option for everyone. But anyway, I think in the future as more vegan products appear and gain popularity we can perhaps see a decline in price. Sometimes I think companies are taking advantage of the newer and unique vegan market, but I could be wrong.
Anyway, I like how you break down the ratings into categories of nutritional details. Very analytical and helpful, especially on your protein powder review.
I think pizza could be next but sounds expensive. Perhaps cereal? Hmm. Or hot dogs? I'm interested in the protein contents especially, along with ingredient results. I seem to think some faux meats such as Gardein and Morningstar are actually decent. High protein, low fat, nothing too strange in the ingredients.
Reguardless, I'll never forget to avoid ProPasta at all costs. Lol.
Hi Tessa, thank you for your comment! We'll have to do more comparison videos in the future and we appreciate the feedback. Vegan alternatives do tend to be more expensive and I think you make a good point about them often being gluten-free and organic. There are also a lot of subsidies that go into animal products that affect pricing as well.
