That's amazing! I used to cruise Van Nuys and San Fernando Blvd back in the 70s. I was, no shit, the only white boy cruising San Fernando Blvd in a low rider back then. It was a beater 50 ford red oxide primer coupe with a 350 Chevy and auto trans. We torched the springs to lower it. My father built custom cars and ran Barris Kustom back then. I learned how to do that work, and did for many years. It's hard, hot, and dirty work. And it's awesome to see such great work in this video!
Wow, Mr. Explorer, I am honored that you checked me out. Before George went to that Big Garage in the sky I always enjoyed seeing him at the WCK event. Him and his little camera was a real crack up. And my first car was a 50 ford flat tie 8BA. Painted it orange in my driveway. Cruised it on Whittier Blvd. at the Nixon drive in! Happy Trails Ozark.

You'de think that especially if you come from the city. Don't forget, Santa Maria gets the coastal influence so the breeze keep it ventilated. In fact most of us were in coats and the temperature was droping into the 60's.
Well Michael, Hot Rod car culture pretty much started in Cali, just as the Philli "Cheese Stake" started in the home of the liberty Bell. I don't think the bell is going anywhere soon ( One can only hope) and when horseless carriages came on the scene, Well, there are more horses now then ever before. So it goes. I'll keep making my Videos, and you'll keep making delicious sandwiches, and that will bring joy to us all. Now I've got to get back to editing my "WCK Sat. at the Fairpark" to be released this weekend! Thank you so much for your thoughts! Many folks out there share your sentiment.

While the rest of the country was laughing at the things known to cause cancer in the state of California, They kept becoming more extreme. And our laughter we somehow failed to notice how California's extreme views by their government. This is possible because of the size of California and it's diminished but still sizable economic clout. No I never lump everybody into one category for any reason because that just is not ever correct. My dad around three weeks out in California and you have some beautiful country and fantastic vintage cars. Remember to vintage cars are exempt from certain rules and without those exemptions that was vintage cars go away. That is very possible. I'm leaving Illinois another similar minded stage that just revoked thousands of vintage car titles. Remember that when you're voting in the next election. Look at when California New York and some other more minor players teamed up. They found out just how much power they could exert. Now I love old cars and that's an understatement. When we left California we went to the Grand canyon as we were meandering our way home. In between the time we hung out at the Navajo Nation. Their history is much like the history of my Cherokee side of my ancestors. For decades powerful people especially in government have been dividing and conquering us. I was driving a very noticeable vintage car. A lutino man was admiring my car and I walked over and said what you think of it. He stepped back. I just want to point that out because it's crazy as something seems today and impossible. For our kids it will be everyday how it is. If the government isn't held back. I've yet to watch all of this episode is so fantastic I saved it to the library on my phone. I have shared it as well. There is no doubt family tradition and the love of old cars in California. Please don't let them take that away because you post you contribute a lot to the car culture and our country.
