      ***** I'm not talking about the people actually doing the fighting. I'm talking about the people promoting the fighting in the first place. They want an Islamic caliphate so they can will power over people the way they see fit. Kurds fight for the same thing. They fight for the land because they understand that land is essential to power and it's the basis that will allow them to live in the way they chooses. Sunnis are just pissed because they use to run shit and the Shia in a way have to suppress them because if all things are just left freely. The Sunnis will run Iraq economically anyway because they have had the education and business contacts and knowledge for 50 years on how to run a state. Plus probably most of the richest Iraqis outside of the country are Sunni so they will be quick invest in Sunni areas. With all that said, when all of this is over, the "winner(s)" will still have to be able to do the following things. How will they feed their people? How will they educate their people? How will they create an economy that meet the needs of their people? How will they defend their people?

    This is why I support gun rights. And not just any gun rights. I think good people should have the right to own assault rifles, high capacity magazines, body armor, night vision equipment, you name it. Without guns, you're helpless in the face of people who do have guns or who outnumber you. If these Christians had AR-15s or AKs, they'd be able to stay where they were and defend themselves from Islamic imperialists.

      SanFran247 Gun control only stops law abiding citizens from owning them. ISIS and other criminal scum don't give a fuck. If somebody really wants to get their hands on a gun, they will, it's just a matter of time and money. Imagine if Peshmerga wasn't armed and defending their people, do you have any idea what ISIS would do to them? Stop being so ignorant.

    • @SanFran247
      @SanFran247 10 лет назад

      You are ignorant if you believe any policy the government puts forward will be recognized by the general population based on THE ONGOING ALL OUT WAR. Plus they only need guns to protect themselves from ISIS because ISIS was able to gain control of their weaponry through the lack of gun control. If there was any gun control in the first place maybe some of this could have been prevented. However the west feels the need to give groups weaponry which ultimately backfires as it has throughout history. If we don't learn history we are doomed to repeat it and it looks like you didn't learn yours.

      Honestly, how old are you? Do you even know what Assyriology is? By the way, there is no such thing as a Kurdology. Where is the historical source for Kurdstan please, give me a date and a king name.
      Yes it does talk about Iraq, It's not 2:10 its 2:14-- Genesis 2:14:: And the name of the third river is the *Tigris*, which flows east of *Assyria*.
      You aren't protecting anyone, the Kurds and the ISIS work together, even the Turkmen in Kirkuk are seeing this.
      How is Nineveh your home land? LOL. I beg anyone to do a simple research on Nineveh and see who's homeland that really belongs to.

    • @AshuriKing
      @AshuriKing 10 лет назад +1

      Give me 1 Kurdish king and date please
      Really? The Turkmens are thanking Peshmerga? I beg to differ from this news recently posted.
      AINA-2014-06-28 - Iraqi Turkmen leader Ersad Salihi has slammed the president of the autonomous Kurdish Regional Government of northern Iraq, Masoud Barzani, after the latter insisted that Kurdish forces would not be pulling out of Kirkuk during a meeting with British Foreign Minister William Hague on Friday.
      The Peshmerga only protect their own interest, and as I say, the Assyrians will expose the KRG as the criminals they are.

    • @AshuriKing
      @AshuriKing 10 лет назад

      George, I am not saying Kurds are bad, there are very good Kurdish people. However, the policies of the KDP is bad and the Assyrians wont put up with it.
      The Assyrian Democratic Movement just called on International Protection in the Assyrian Safe Haven they are creating + Just today Over 1000 Assyrians joined the army to protect Assyrians in East Nineveh.

    • @SarahHaddadPE
      @SarahHaddadPE 6 лет назад +6

      Not really!
      I am from Qaraqosh. The destruction of Qaraqosh (Assyrian Christian town) was planned by Kurdish forces and executed by ISIS. The Kurdish forces planned ethnic cleansing the Neneveh plain from Assyrians and Yezidis, so they could come back, invade it and claim that its their land (after killing everyone and burring the evidence that the lands doesn't belong to the indigenous people). Before the attack of ISIS, the Kurdish forces completely disarmed the people in Qaraqosh by force, and lied to them by promising them to protect the area, but just shortly after that the Kurdish army withdrew secretly. The people saw them withdrawing and saw that their town is getting bombarded by ISIS bombs (where at least three died), so most of them escaped immediately leaving everything they owned behind. In conclusion, Kurdish army deceived us and planned our death. Unfortunately, the media is telling us something else. The Kurdish army is not fighting ISIS to save us from them, but to concur new lands and include them with their fake map. If you read the history, you will find that the Kurds have been killing and displacing Assyrians in the region since the 1915s until this day. Most of the land is stolen from Assyria.

      Point, however there's a 3rd group. The middle group. The group that speaks but doesn't act. The group that would love to see the others die in a pit of fire, but carries on their day. No they are not extremists. No, they are not the "love everyone" people deep down either. And I'm willing to bet, this group, makes up the majority of religious people, young and old. Yes this is my biased observation, but If to any value, I do come from a very liberal strip of land. If you want to attribute this to people in general dividing and pointing blame, i can give ground there.
