I'm certainly more than impressed. Even as a viewer, it's tough not to have high expectations.. immense pressure, and he's racing kids that have been at it for much longer. The gigantic leap he's made over even just the last 12 months is incredible to see.. I can only imagine what his next level is going to look like! Chad and Ellie keep it real. We can all see the tremendous effort and heart by the entire team. It's all a win in my book. Really enjoyed watching the entire series!
Couldn't agree more! I know it's bittersweet, but the disappointment Tate feels is going to be like rocket fuel for him to come back with a vengeance next year! Excited to see the journey, and I absolutely love being able to cheer on the next generation of riders with a #22 Reed jersey! Just makes me feel a bit older now lol
Damn I have tears in my eyes. That boy has it in him to win it all. He just doesn't have the time under his belt yet as far as going for it 100 percent. He made huge gains in one year. Next year will be a different story and I have zero doubt about it.
Cheer up tate. You will continue to train, get the racing intelligence and attack again next year with improved physical fitness. Take it as experience and remember how much you have already improved. Keep believing in your abilities and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you in Austria.
I commend you young man. You will get there but regardless you have my respect for how you carry yourself in good times and bad. You are a credit to your parents
Tate, don’t give up. I raced for 25 years and never got a first place, but I never gave up and I did my best. You have your mom and dad there to show you the way. Be like a sponge and soak it all up. You’ll get there
The kids got heart! Would have crushed anyone’s spirit that and he even spoke on camera at the end. Keep up the good work one of the hardest things is to accept and move forward and push onto the next! Future star 🌟
Tates ready when he's ready. His progression is unreal. Well done that lad. Can't rush these things, he's got the aggression and speed. He just needs to learn to be smooth and flow. Carry more momentum. He's coming in to a corner hard virtually stopping and then wide open on the throttle again. It'll come all in good time. Keep up the hard work.
There's never losing just winning and learning. Use this as a feeling you never want again and always think about it while you're training! I know you have the talent and work ethic! Good luck going forward!
I don’t write comments usually, but here I feel I should. I watch you guys as a family for a very long time. Very impressed and motivated watching Tate and Kiah fought for Loretta. Congratulations for All of You. Tate, I kept my fingers crossed, but life sometimes just works against. I will watch with pleasure how you evolve and become better rider for next year, don’t give up. And I write from Poland in Europe where motocross isn’t popular at all 😉
Wauw! what a good kid, he is growing more and more! Next year hes out there with lots of more selfasteem and knowledge! greetings from Sweden! Keep on rocking!😃
What a man to make thise statements at the end of the video!!! You are strong Tate. Keep your head up! You have good ppl around who can help. Stay focus! Just a little taste of what it takes to strive for the top.
That young man is so fast and has improved so much in the little amount of time that he has raced! Just so impressed with him. He gathered himself up in that interview! Love this family, great role models all! …and well, just really nice people too!
Ellie, it hasn't been too long! You and Chad are excellent coach's but more importantly, you both are incredible parents! You both want your children to succeed in life but you both HELP them learn. You never push them beyond their abilities but along with giving them loads of support and love, you keep them pushing their comfort zones. I wish my parents had the drive and ambition to back me when I was racing but, they hated racing calling it a waste of time instead of more and more schooling. I did make the pro ranks, but I was never able to reach my potential because everyone fought me to quit instead of moving forward. Chad was / is very lucky to have you and you him. I never experienced that. The love and desires to back your children are incredible. I look forward to each and every video. Keep up the effort, you two are amazing and your children are amazingly fast. Have fun out there!
Thanks for sharing your racing family. I have six boys and for me it has always been the journey with them. Winning is just a bonus. No progress without struggle. Progress is right around the corner.
You guys are great role models with great kids it just wasn’t his day but these kids are champions in my eyes love watching the racing proud of you fellow Aussies 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺👍👍👍👍👍
You are doing great Tate!! Don’t ever give up, your improvement has been unreal to watch. Keep grinding and I can’t wait to watch you at Loretta’s next year!!
The last couple minutes of the video is what makes you a winner Tate! Great job this year and congrats on the motor win. Looking forward to seeing you rip on the 125. Chin up always.
Watching chad rip out the blown motor was pretty inspirational. My bike blew up on one of my most important weekends as a racer and ill never forget my dad and brother working their asses off and getting my bike ready to ride before the weekend was over.
Why did you not work on your bike? Here is the difference between a racer who works on their own bike and one that does not. The one that does, can figure out a way to make money with the skills and knowledge they earned, after the racing is over. There is a lot more opportunity in Motocross,--than racing. No pro retires with a 4 year engineering degree (can get part time while racing), and most retire with the marketable skills of a HS drop out. Doug in Michigan (Motocross formed my life, since 1976, of engineering and the freedom of self employment)
@@EarthSurferUSA of course I worked on my own bikes. On that particular weekend my motor was destroyed and we weren't prepared for that type of massive failure.
What impresses me is the progression I've gotten to see with tate. I always enjoy watching progression. The speed will come. The talent is there. The passion, the means, it's all there. Keep working. Start preparing for winter mini o's
Keep your head up Tatorchip, you made it to the regionals first time trying. There are thousands of riders that couldn't get that far yet alone the Loretta's. And Jeremy McGrath was 16 before he earned a ticket to the Loretta's. And look at his success! Your going to be fine young man. Nothing against your sister, but it's much easier to make it in the girls class then the men's classes. 85cc class (all divisions) are the toughest there is. You have the speed, you just need to sharpen your starting skills. I have no doubt I will be watching you on Saturdays in just a few years. Respect...
Tate remember “A winner is a loser who tried one more time,”Love the show been watching your old man Chad during his own illustrious career, train hard support your sister, you have an amazing family and support, and you’ll be back bigger and stronger next year from Dave Aussie expat in Thailand 🇹🇭and my family
Man as a parent, watching you guys be stern yet encourage and be supportive and not beat him down (or any of your kids for that matter) when he has a rough day but still get the point across is very impressive. He’ll come back even stronger next year. Kids made alot of progress. Excited to see Kiah rip!
Bad luck mixed with a lack of experience but we’ve all been there. Chad’s not teaching his kid how to be a pro rider but good man. Those moments where your family rally’s around you is crucial. Props to lil man.
Trust the process he's got the goods needed and a great for a dad he's come along way and going up can't wait to see what the future holds thanks for the insight Reeds much respect......🤙
Listen kiddo it's Hard this thing we call Life !! We fight every day to stay alive !! And it's a up hill battle ! But it's the battle that keeps us alive every day my friend !! So learn about your a achievements !! And take it head on !! You're a fighter kid !! Don't dwell on the past fight for your future !! Keep your head up Tate !
It’s good to see Tate listen to his younger sister. The whole family is awesome and amazing. Tate don’t hold your head down. Keep it up because you have worked so hard to get where you’re at. Keep practicing hard and the wins will come. You have a long career in racing and had the awesome support from your entire family.
I've went away for a while to be able to give you an honest feedback. Bo, you realize how far you've came in such a short period of time ? Kid , ya doin it , just stay on tha grind .. This is the best lesson you could've gotten these past few months IMHO. It's gonna make ya hungry kid !!! Awesome stuff
As a family we know the work and support it takes to make it and for his first real season I think a TOTAL success! I think after a year of training he'll be at the gate next year! We're proud of you!
Love seeing the true highs and lows motocross it’s what makes it the best sport in the world. Being Chads son with those expectations have to be so much pressure. Tate we love watching the progress and stay at it kid the talent is unreal
Chad and fam we as parents feel these pains with you. Your family unit is the win in all of this. How blessed we are to have each other. These moments are so challenging and difficult and it takes the love of your family to make it in life.
The hardest classes on the dirt is the classes he is running. Next year he will be a different kid. He has a great attitude. Sure not qualifying stinks. But that will be fuel for his training next year. Mom , dad , you guys are doing great. Can’t wait for the next video. Thanks for allowing us to hang out in the pits with the 22Crew. Luke 9:62
I just want to say how much I appreciate and I’m sure others do as well, that you bring us along for the journey. I know it can’t be easy to put your family and family moment in front of a camera, but I truly believe you all are inspiring, teaching, and showing what a family trying to fight together to achieve whatever goal is in front of you what it’s all about. I can’t say thanks enough. I could t imagine 15 years ago that I would be able to watch Chad try to bring his kids through the ranks and damn is it awesome to watch. Much love, Reed family.
Chad & Ellie Let Me Say Wonderful Job Giving Your Children The Game In This Motocross World And Way! Please Continue To Give Them The Keys To Succeed. . . Tate CONTINUE ON, KEEP PUSHIN!! PLZ DONT GIVE UP KEEP PUSHIN YOUNG KING! GOOD LUCK TO YOU MS KIAH!! REED FAMILY KEEP CHASING THE DREAM!!
"Sometimes the hard lessons are the best ones." I have zero doubt the reed children will succeed in life with the support of parents like C&E! The improvement of the kids over the last year is phenomenal. We're proud of you, Tate, and with you during even the times you struggle a bit. You got this bud!
It’s awesome to see the composure even when not being able to finish he keeps his cool.. sometimes I wonder what the kids do that don’t have all the support and equipment and an extra race bike .. its definitely a sport that requires sacrifices
It was tough- he got lucky he saved it. Normally he tripled that jump. We had a spare 85 engine. No supermini spares. So he just had to race with that one.
Team 22 is so inspiring! from Chad and Ellie's journey to the top to the bond the kids have with each other to push and be there for each other is worth more than tickets it's a true definition of team spirit. Good luck team 22!
Hopefully this makes the drive that much more for next year! I'm the grand scheme of things it was his first try for Loretta's anyhow, there's people that tried year after year and never got the invite. We all have faith that next year you will be there, no doubt!
I have so much respect for you guys. Seeing the passion Tate and Kiah have especially at a young age is amazing. You can tell that they really care! Keep working Tate💯!
Seeing Kiah helping work on the bike and the emotions that both had at the end . Wow . Tate while LL is a milestone Or lets just say a check box . its the years that follow that you are building towards that will count . Start Thinking Mini Os . Now you know what you need to do . regroup Enjoy the river and golf carts at LL cus things get real after . Pulling for you Bud .
Tate owning his journey at the end of the video shows what an incredible young man Chad and Ellie are raising! I loved seeing Kiah and Chad getting Tate's mini ready. I'm sure Tate will come back stronger and put it all together to punch that ticket next time. Speed is not an issue, just needs more experience. Thanks for allowing us to follow this journey.
Racing is tough! I love how he takes it in stride and wants to work to get better. He will get there one day. And I f I can say this, the way you guys as the parents are there to show him the way and instill in him not to quit also you guys don’t sugar coat anything. I believe we need this in the world and I would like to commend you on this! Congrats to Kiah can’t wait for the LL series to come out I will be watching. Rooting for the Reeds!! Thanks for sharing also.
Bad luck Tate you rode so well and sometimes everything doesn't go the way you want it to but awesome job, next year is your time to shine, congratulations Kia awesome riding and your off to Laretters✌️✌️👌💯😀😀😀
Love the way Chad is so hands on as a Mechanic ...not paying someone to do all the graft . I've been involved in motorsport for 40 years and it's one of those things where you can take 3 steps forward and in a split second take 25 back...Next one will be better guys then this one will be long gone.
Don’t give up Tate! You are very talented and you have the best tools a guy could have to help get you to become anything you want to accomplish… #family #twotwo.
First off Tate great attitude even with what you are dealing with emotionally. Like you said NEXT YEAR. You rode good, with what was seen on the video. Ya you had mistakes, now you know what you have to do to correct them for next time. Now like the big brother, Kiah will need you in her corner for support at Loretta Lynn's. It was really nice and a little tearful the support Kiah showed you after your last moto. Keep your head up Tate and keep smiling and pushing forward. Loretta Lynn's is your's next yr. Good job Ellie and Chad and hello Pace.
These classes the top kids are all ready pros with factory rides tate just started racing like a year ago crazy progress keep it up have fun don't be to hard on yourself but winning is fun 👌 😎
Win or Learn, never lose. And I think Tate is doing just that. His comments at the end came with genuine maturity and wisdom that typically only comes from enduring hardship. He’s going to be such a great pit coach for Kiah at Loretta’s. ❤
As a father this breaks my heart. I've watched my kids out work everyone and still not get the results that either of us wanted. He has the speed, he has the work ethic, I have zero doubt he will get there. Head up lad, keep grinding.
It is mental at that point. The mental attitude is not aggressive enough. You even get picked on by the dummies when Deegan shows the mental toughness I am talking about. Brian sure did a good job. Great family man. How do I know Deegan is RC serious? No tattoos. :)
Tate this right here will be a life lesson you remember forever and do far greater things for you next year. And I won’t be surprised if you get a ticket at the first stop next year.
He has the talent , passion, and it shows. Those lessons will weigh on him , and soon will become building blocks , to make him stronger and better. For the amount of seat time he actually has, he is doing incredible. Rooting for you kiddo !!
Keep training and you will be their Tate! Never quite, never give up! You have already improved so much just this year. Loretta’s is coming just keep pushing. 👍🏻
New fan here happy to see the support from your family specifically your sister. Keep grinding kid learn from failure/mistake. Soon you achieve what you want.👍💪
It takes guts to show the world, the ups and downs of Moto X. The highs only come with experiencing the downs. Your work ethic and family will only make you come back stronger.
Much support for you from France 🇫🇷 Tate! Ok this year for you to Loretta is awful, but you are strong and the next year has much better buddy 💪. And now you are a big support for your sister. 🤙🤙👋. Bye the twotwo familly and see you on the next vlog. 🇨🇵🇨🇵.
Tate, at your age a year can seem like forever but the reality it’s just a vary short moment in time… Keep your chin up as tough times make tough men… I for one I’m pulling for you and can’t wait to see what the future holds for you!!!
A ton of love and passion in this family. That is way more important than a ticket to Loretta's. Way to grind Tate. Once you find your stride, the sky is the limit.
Months back I didn’t think the kid even had a chance to make LL. BUT he has come a long way and has earned my respect. Keep on digging and fight for a spot next year! Great job!

Very mature of Tate to suck it up and talk to the camera at the end. That's good character. Great job.

GOD BLESS HIM !!! I think he's such a lovely kid and he shouldn't be down on himself. He will smash it next year. And I'll be watch from the UK.

Chin up Tate...first year running these classes, you did well. Now, use this next year and focus on improving your fitness and focus.
Dads disappointment was obvious by his absence at closing 😢 tough gig racing as a teen 👍👍
His sister upset , so nice to see the family care about it all and each other so humble
Watching kiah crying for tate just makes it so real and to let there emotions come out you will come back stonger and hunger next year
So much love there
These classes the top kids are all ready pros with factory rides tate just started racing like a year ago crazy progress keep it up have fun don't be to hard on yourself but winning is fun 👌 😎
Gutted for him!! He’ll be back stronger next year with a lot more to prove
No tattoos. :)
@@EarthSurferUSAHaiden has tattoos
Tate this right here will be a life lesson you remember forever and do far greater things for you next year. And I won’t be surprised if you get a ticket at the first stop next year.
He has the talent , passion, and it shows. Those lessons will weigh on him , and soon will become building blocks , to make him stronger and better. For the amount of seat time he actually has, he is doing incredible. Rooting for you kiddo !!
💯
Great try young man !!! This will only make you stronger and faster! Keep your head up you got this!
Keep training and you will be their Tate! Never quite, never give up! You have already improved so much just this year. Loretta’s is coming just keep pushing. 👍🏻
AWESOME video. So cool of you guys to share the journey and that last interview amazing for him to sac up and bust that out!
New fan here happy to see the support from your family specifically your sister. Keep grinding kid learn from failure/mistake. Soon you achieve what you want.👍💪
The kid has come so far. 2024 Loretta’s or not….he’s still got a bright future.
Definitely liked his attitude at the end, if he stays in that mindset he’ll never lose…
Way to go champ. You'll get there.
Months back I didn’t think the kid even had a chance to make LL. BUT he has come a long way and has earned my respect. Keep on digging and fight for a spot next year! Great job!
I feel the same way!
And all the racing was just great preparation and practice .
