I’ve listened to many different covers of “Komm Susser Todd” since 2020 when I became obsessed with Evangelion and I’ve had a hard time finding an orchestra version of it. This is one of the coolest and most beautiful rendition of it. Especially the ending, it’s so dark, depressing, yet peaceful.
The ending is the most beautiful version I have ever heard. It perfectly captures the feeling of someone or the world finally taking its last breath. It's haunting but beautiful. The sweet release of Death has finally come.
this is probably the closest version that actually resembled the original scene from the movie. The slow descent to madness through the trombones, the claps, and even the speeding tempo at around 4:20 mark. Granted it's a whole concert, but it's accurate nonetheless.
Totally disagree. What makes this one of the best is exactly how it is focused in the song itself instead of trying to be a half-assed "amv" from some teenager.
It was a huge concert, full of mainly 90's anime. I'm editing and releasing one video at a time, and perhaps in the future the whole concert, the editing being the challenge as it takes a lot of time...but I'll upload a new one for you tomorrow ok 👍
Bro/Sis who uploaded this video, I just have to say thank you so much for recording and/or posting this. I've never heard it so beautiful live before. I was legitimately misty eyed by this.
The way the lights turn orange at the end is the best!

Thanks! This performance is from the very end of Sweden's first symphonic anime concert, I really wanted to create that "end of the world" feeling
its the best song for the apocalypse isn't it
@@DavidWesterlund I don't think there's another anime song in existence that would fit that better.
What?! It's pretty chill 😂
*turns you into an orange soup*
Love how it begins in a similar arrangement to Bach’s Air. Incredible arrangement.
Glad I'm not the only one who picked up on that

The greatest Beatles song of all time for the utmost greatest anime movie of all time!
Thank you much for this.
流石、わかってらっしゃる(日本のアニメファンから)
If I were in the audience I would probably be crying during this part of the concert.
You get used to it
I need to see this in person so bad
Love this version, thank for it

Me too...the audio guy forgot to record the audio, and the camera...well, it was 2013

¡Qué genial!
Cuánto había esperado una versión en vivo.
I didn’t know this concert. Thanks for uploading.
this was beautifully done, wow!
the perfect song for an apocalyptic world.
I really wish there was a choral cover of this song. This version is the closest there is.
Such a beautiful voice 😮
Pero que increíble final, está muy melancólico, adoro
Greetings, this interpretation would be the definitive soundtrack for these moments of war, recession and global warming.
Pero que bien suena esto, ojalá y hubiera una versión de esta canción, grabada en un estudio
Better known as "Komm, süsser Tod".
Great rendition.
Edit: at the time this comment was posted, the video title only had the English title.
太好聽了,第一次聽現場版
Very good performance. I really dig it. Would’ve been cool if they had EoE playing on those screens.

This is a great rendition! Is there a full video of the concert somewhere? If not, do you remember what pieces were played?
Thanks!
