What do you think this song is about?
@@Unclenicklnj It's written by a punk band in their 50's that's always just done their own thing and it's served them really well. With that perspective, the songs just saying you don't much time to live a full life, so just be yourself and always have pursue your dreams. Do that and you'll be satisfied and happy and can stand proud, even if you're struggling to get by. It's a good tune, but their lyrics are always great.
@@pulleyfm8585 It can sound contradictory at first, like do your own thing and then you'll likely fail anyway.
But, the meaning to me is, yes, be yourself, no matter who you are, or how old you are, and if even if you stand a good chance to fail then who cares and screw them anyway because, no matter what, you were always true to yourself instead of letting idiots in life direct you elsewhere.
Absolutely terrific song. Love this tune so much.
I always say that about Tim ❤ especially in this storm Sick Sick World sounds like he’s lecturing a a kid or something I don’t know that I can easily figure out Tim talk not Sick, but you can tell his lecturing 😊
Rancids been my favorite band since I was 13. I’m 32. I’m 2 hours away from seeing them for the first time while listening to this : )

i love the old school '93 Rancid sound. I was talking to Bill from Fang/MDC just last month and he was telling me so many stories about Tim in the Pre-Rancid days when he used to roadie for MDC and how he helped you guys on the "Let's Go" album.

i hope for another album like life wont wait. one of the best experimental punk albums ever recorded. having buju banton on tracks, the great politics in songs like new dress, or folk sounds like Warsaw. wow. nothing quite like it in that era of punk rock. such underrated album. this song is great.

I thought Rancid Lets Go and And Out Comes The Wolves were better although Indestructible is a good album
i think so, most people talk about And Out Comes The Wolves when people consider it their best album or Lets Go. i feel that Life Wont Wait is underrated in that way. it is better than And Out Comes The Wolves.

I never dreamt that rancid would ever become a nostalgic band for me, I watch them now and they seem something like an old punk band like U.K. Subs or sham 69... not quite sounding like their old selves , but still making noise... damn I got old and time flew by fast brother.

it doesn't quite have the "life wont wait" sound I was hoping for, but truly appreciate and love the mid 90s skate punk vibe it has.. I grew up with this sound, and miss it. I'm really liking this album so far, bringing back some long lost teen angst. Lol man I'm old
