Halo Zero still alive in our hearts.
This is our vision of "The Downward Spiral" era. Compiled from most of the bootlegs, that were shot between 1994-1995 and mixed with some of the official footage from "Closure", "Night of Nothing" and "Woodstock'94" experience.
Everything made up to mockup the style of "The Broken" movie, just because we love it and think that we deserved more than a very soft version of Nine Inch Nails performance, that was shown to us within the "Woodstock" tapes.
Also this performance contains some songs, that was never caught on the video properly during this tour.
Please, do not report if this video is "too much" for you. As always, we don't getting any profit out of this video. This is made up by fans for fans, for free.
Every additional video material that was used is shown in the credits.
Personal thanks goes to Tweaker Ray, who let us use any of his remixes for this project.
Rest in peace, James Wooley. You were a great musician.

It's funny how much the internet has changed things. Back in the 90's, you would have purchased this from an indie record store. It would have been an nth generation vhs copy (of a copy of a), in a big plastic vhs clamshell with blurry jpegged inkjet home printed "artwork". Glitched out video and muddy audio, from one camera source up in the balcony recorded by a guy who had never used a video camera before. And it would have cost $30.

The good old days
Early NIN was so amazing. I remember the day I bought the Pretty Hate Machine cassette in 1990. I was 15. Blown away. It inspired me to make electronic music.
Hes the only musician who improved his body and health with age. Another accomplishment

Dude closure was fine it was closure for that whole three years they had gotten super famous and toured going from clubs to woodstock to arenas it closure to that as a lifestyle....plus the FREE online DVD shit Trent leaked had tons of performance stuff even shit from 1991

This is an amazing work. I literally cannot grasp how hard it must have been to pull this together given its footage now 25 years old. Your additional inserts and effects - it's not all to my personal taste but it's super well done thematically and aesthetically. Thank you for the effort and for sharing this moment in time.

6:42 Whenever I see all those dudes crammed onto such a small stage I wonder what city or market it was in. This was a really big tour for Nails and most of the shows were in large venues, if not arenas. Like, are they in a convention center in Boise or something!?

Just found this... LOVE IT!!! well done! Having been at the 1st Lollapalooza concert to see NIN and the Self Destruct tour with Marilyn Manson and the AATCHB concerts this is beyond a trip thru Memory Lane. Miss old NIN wish I could go back and go to these concerts again and again.
this is truly amazing, an audio/visual work of art. been a fan since 97 but never knew this existed until now. with new strength it reinforces NIN as number one in my top six. I love the pre millennium footage and distorted video cassette effects spliced with modern effects and footage (particularly the REC 2 scene {nice}) thank you all so much for creating and producing this :{)

Everything about this is great, apart from the pointless and irritating use of fake/PC-generated VHS tracking / video distortion effects. It degrades the visual image for no reason apart from to try and add some BS 'authenticity' of I Was There, when anyone who was paying attention at the time, HATED lazy and off tracking that ruined the image. I still do. This feels like a labour of love that was deliberately thrown into a meat grinder to look more real, like those pre-ripped T-shirts you get at Hot Topic.
Pretty Hate Machine was a masterpiece.

Love the editing and the sequence of all the footage. But, the extra graphics gotta go, man.
I agree, far too distracting. The added video FX are fine and work with the vibe of this project, but the extraneous footage is unnecessary and sadly diminishes the fantastic work put into this. Sometimes less really is more.
