Use a VPN with a US IP to get ads changed from Thai to US. Also turn off location services for RUclips and chrome if you use Apple.

Location services are off. I did the VPN thing for a while but it was slowing down my connection too much. Do you recommend a fast VPN? I use VyperVPN. Thanks in advance!

@@DeeNimmin I can't tell you which one is best, but I use Private Internet Access. When I was working in the Philippines it was OK, but there were only a handful of regional IPs when I needed speed. In your case you will definitely get lag because you are going to be using a US based server to spoof your location. You should expect 200ms lag of more connecting to US from SE Asia with PIA if you have an otherwise fast connection, at least based on my experience. If you are connecting through Japan or Singapore you would be in the 70-90ms range which is the fastest you will get with PIA. The bandwidth isn't terrible on it, if you have a server thats slow you can hop on to another one. Tons in the US to choose from. My wife has coworkers that were traveling near India and they said NORD VPN was the only one of theirs that worked well, and PIA didn't work for them at all in that region. I don't know first hand about NORD VPN, it just seemed sketchy to me that they try to appear Scandinavian and they aren't. A good resource to check out is the "digital nomad" subreddit. There is a lot of first hand experience with these VPNs and more, and many of those guys are in Thailand, probably Chiang Mai. They will also be a good resource for telling you which VPNs allow you to unlock Netflix and other country coded services. BTW is that new law about having to report travel away from your residence affecting you guys? It sounds like the Thai gov't. might be getting less friendly to expats. FWIW I highly suggest getting some kind of VPN since you make money on the net. One other thought...location of your bank may also flag your location to google. I'm assuming you already use a US bank, but try using one if you aren't already and see if that helps.
