Just wanted to thank you for the effort you put into these, MainMan. I know Geese isn't a popular character and these won't get many views, but they help a lot and might even bring a few new players into the character to see how fun he can really be - Geese Main.
Yes.. Bruce Clearly is missing... I always wanted Kunimitsu most since Season 1 And Angel Noctis was like I lost my mind at that trailer.. I played FFXV till I broke the game.. godmode glitch everything Platinum I loved FFXV And Noctis for me fits Tekken really well But between you and me.. I'dd trade him for bruce.. not cause I main Bruce but He is missing.. Noctis wasn't he was just a pleasant surprise for me I hope we get a season 5 With Bruce and a more Unique Angel.. Maybe even Alex the Dino would be fun and ofcourse Mokujin sorry I went on a essay spree.. but yh I miss Bruce.. Specially with that Snoop Dogg Outfit he had.. he looked sick.. I also thaught he looked Like A teams Mr T. with all dem chains
I'm one of the 3 people who bought Tekken 7 just to mess around with the single player stuff (didn't pay full price obviously). Never been a fan of multiplayer in any form. Anyway, I grabbed Geese at the same time as the game (also on sale) and he's a favorite already, although Raging Storm was driving me mad. The tips in this video are great even for a pleb like me, so thanks! :D
yo mate xd Im playing on a pad and im so inconsident with these motion inputs on geese, just started now but you have any tips maybe? Should I just spam 2,f1,qcb3 until Im consident?? xd or is there something else
I recommend getting the new Seimitsu LSX Nobi STD joystick. It has a special square gate that really helps with quarter circle and half circle motions since it has a notch in the middle and the 4 sides are slightly angled, so the stick easily finds up,down, left, right directions and when doing circular moves where you need to stop at one of the 4 main directions it is fast and easy to find. And it still feels like a square gate to use in that it's not too restrictive.
11:17 Moon slicer doesn't really need a neutral input as it isn't really a cd, its a dp (dragon punch, shoryuken), f,d,df. So to me the way to get it 100% consistent is to be careful on the last input with the stick, making sure to be holding df last to get the moon slicer and forward to get the reppuken, though the neutral input may be useful, specially to tekken players who've ben doing electrics and wavedashes. Also visualizing in your head the Z motion some games have to indicate the dp (like dbfz) is really usefull on square gate sticks.
Good tip for 2f1 moonslicer. First of all train 2f1 MMC 2f1 U do 2f1 but when u press 1st f input u do 2nd one right after it. And then n,d,df1+2 and don't finish hadooken motion. Leave ur stick on df. And release only after animation starts. For me it's like I do 2ff1 cd 1+2. Think of it as doing hellsweep but w/1+2.
a little remark* after f1 you can do QUARTER circle back 3 instead of half circle back and you'll still get the combo, and the instant shippuken also doesnt require the half circle back, you can do quarter circle back, hold up back and then 1+2
Been playin geese for a couple of months now, gonna practice on what the first 10 min covered because I can do the starter of the combo/carry, which makes me know for sure I can do the whole thing…plus I just switched to using analog stick, which is totally different from the D pad
im here after buying geese and after learning the input, i only learned 2f1 meter to 2f1 and launch for like 30 mins, i am not kidding i did it for only 30 minutes because before geese i tried akuma and hell no i aint picking up that fighter akuma combo fast paced and a lot of button pressing compared to geese i thought geese combo inputs are the same as akuma but its actuallt easier its just 2f1 1+2 then repeat 2f1 and do a f,d,df,f input as someone who played mishima it wasnt a problem thats literally it but in akuma its like 2x the buttons pressed in a second compared to geese you also need to press the buttons 2x faster than geese
Wait for some people taping the directions is easier than just sliding you thumb across the dpad (on pad). I have not tried it out though in my head it seems weird but i have try that put because when i do the motion in real life it actually doesn feel that slow and weird

Still starting with Geese as well and wow what a character! He definitely feels different from the rest of the cast!
I play this guy on pad and people get confused with how i execute his moves on it. Once u get used to or find a way, it's actually pretty easy.

2,f1, qcb3 works perfectly
All geese hcb inputs can be done by pressing f,qcb. Just like qcb 2 combo but just pressing extra f

the best way to do the instant shippuken is db,b,ub,u,uf+1+2, you have to feel all those buttons, no need for visual cue, it will be executed
