You don’t need to pull those retaining plugs/clips all the way out and off the felt panel, just use the cat claw and pop them out about 1/4 to 1/2 inch. If you leave them on the felt panel it’s easier to put the panel back on and there is less of a chance of you breaking the retaining plugs/ clips. Great video. PC
that fabric cover with clips and bolts makes me not want to change my own oil. i only have 2 little ramps and get light headed sometimes when laying on my back under the car. I think I'll let a quick lube type place do it for me.
Yes you can remove the small cloth panel. Just secure the big front panel on the back so it doesn't flap around (where the cloth panel screws underneath it)
