as a machinist you are making my eye twitch, but your creativity is great. Good job.
Love the design. We'll all remember the sacrifice bridge plate #1 made for the greater good.
Thank you ! Bridge#1 was a stepping stone for the completion of the build 🙏
I’m so glad I didn’t read the comments before watching the video 😂
Art and engineering! I mourn bridge 1 and salute your perseverance.
Thank you very much ! Bridge 1 is going to the hall of fame of my future mistakes as an amateur guitar builder 👍
Really nice design and well executed. You have quite the workshop
It's actually a shared space for students, I'm using it from time to time
Glad to see you participating this year! 楽しみです👍
ありがとうございます!🙇♂️
Cool! Interested to see the finished build in a guitar
Fantastic!
Brass needs some lube so that drill bit slides easier.
That was amazing🤘🤘🤘 Badassery 🤘🤘🤘
Thank you Brother !! 🤘🤘
Clever design!
Thank you !
SUPER MEC....YOU ARE AN ENGINEER, I LIKE THE STRUCTURE, AND I LIKE THE AESTHETIC 💲💲💲✌👍👍✌♫♭♬♯♫♭♬♯♫♫♪♬🔝🔝🔝😁
well done
Thanks !
Very kewl
Thanks !
one of the most interesting videos i have ever see about guitar bridges...awesome
the model of the lathe?
It's a really basic lathe, a Mr. meister compact 9 I believe. Nothing fancy 😂
Beautiful build. Where did you buy the knobs for the tuning system?
From aliexpress actually. I had an awful lot of trouble finding correct knurled knobs in hardware stores.
@@MrStoneheart65 Thanks for the info. I did not manage to find the knobs, but I ended up with some knurled nuts that I think will also work.
Great video.👍 That’s some impressive work 👏👏 Do you do custom orders?
Thank you so much !
Unfortunately, no. I spent 2 months to make this bridge and tailpiece with the tools I had, I don't think I want to do it again 😂😂
Maybe in the future some similar designs would be available on sale 🤔
@@MrStoneheart65 It looked like an amazing amount of work and way out of my area of expertise . I spent a lot of time searching for a 10 string bridge before giving up because of the ggbo deadline. I love brass too so I thought I would ask for future reference. I’m really looking forward to see the rest of your build. Best of luck 👍
is there a longer more slower pace video version would love to try to make one myself but cant keep up with this editing.
Slow down the video playback speed in the settings to half or quarter speed maybe?
What is floor height in a bridge ? Would anyone explain?
I mean I want to buy a multiscale hipshot bridge & thera are options of floor height 125 & 175... M confused
It's the thickness of the base plate. If your fretboard is sitting high compared to the body, you better buy the thicker plate. If not, buy the thinner plate.
you can make a video how this work because i don't understand how this work🙃🙃
I'll make a video showing the whole thing when the guitar is going to be done 👍 I had to let it on the side for a while, but I'm going back at it ! For now I can tell you that the last part i'm showing at 12:23 is where you attach the string balls, and when you turn the knob you pull the string to tune it. The other part is like a Tun'o'matic bridge, but for multiscale ! Hope this helps !
@@MrStoneheart65 so, would the screw pass through the ball end of the string in that case?
@@casanovafunkenstein5090 the opposite, the string pass through the screw, there is a hole all the way through.
