As i stated before dude knows a thing or 2 about chords and what's he doing. When it comes to chords for example if your in the key of C any note works depending on how you use it. I can put a Sharp 9th in the chord but most likely its going to be a dominant 7th, Im not going to go to deep but learn your theory
