- Video tour of the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City, Mexico. Shown are both the old and new versions of the Basilica as well as other chapels and a tour of the beautiful gardens and fountains.

My mom wishes to one travel to Mexico to one day visit this Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe especially on the actual feast day which is December 12th and she is very devoted to the Virgin Mary and we have a family tradition where we wake up at 3 o' clock in the morning to attend the solemn mass and see Las Mañanitas perform in the procession to the church. This was our family tradition back in Puerto Rico and now I live in Florida and my mom found the Church of St. Rita in Dade City and it's mainly a Latino Mexican community there and we kept the family tradition alive. My mom also learned that the procession with Las Mañanitas for the Virgin of Guadalupe is on the 12th but on the day before the actual feast day. My point being, Our Lady of Guadalupe is a part of my family's Catholic Faith.

The “Four Angels” are The Arch Angels. Gods soldiers of Heaven. St.Michael, St.Gabriel, St.Uriel, and St. Ralphael.
When you said “Sinking like the Catholic Religion.” My faith will NEVER sink. My foundation is strong and will forever be.
Well slowly all religions are slowly losing patrons..... but the faith will endure!

To the narrator: It is offensive to say that the religion that the sinking church represents is also sinking. You did this for having a content in your RUclips video? I would prefer narrators to have respect for his subject.

The original basilica should have been restored instead of building that monstrosity!
I agree completely! I love the old style architecture the new style doesn't do anything for me!
The new modern basilica ( called " facility" in the video ) is a very heavy and not beautiful concreted building , nothing in harmony with the old charming original basilica . The great Jayant Plaza is too great and too concreted. The solar clock is quite unnecessary and ugly . The line of stations of the cross too much on the same level , in line and on the concrete of the plaza, so too functional to incite to prayers . The garden is beautiful but the big statues praying in front of the one of the Lady of Guadalupe can't too encourage to pray but rather tourists to take photos . This place which should appear sacred, seems now almost pagan . Thank you .
I appreciate also the older style of construction, for me the old basilica is the most beautiful between the two.

Sorry bubby. The catholic church is not sinking. It is a living thing and subject to decline and rebirth til Christ returns. Your off handed remark is not impressive. You visited, but you missed the entire reason. It is pride that allows such a flippant remark. Did you go just to view the site like an admirer of beauty and God's intervention in human history or did it just affect your eyes? Go deeper.
I have seen more Catholic Churches in my travels than the pope has! Most of them have few people at the misas. What I meant to say is it is sinking because the attendance is sinking....
