If I have understood your explanation correctly - the drop of the indentor happens only once and the further load cycling is managed through pressure on the top of the indentor? So there is not repeated the drop of the indentor? Am I right? Thank you for your aswer in advance!

I'm also working on ANSYS for my dissertation work. My thesis is regarding of flexural strength of RC beam, and i want to know, can i apply 400kg/min load on beam which is mention in IS 516 t. And what is the procedure for applying this kind of load on beam. Which project schematic i have to use for this Explicit dynamic or Static structures.
