*My Skottle came with my drone, traction boards, and spare gas cans! I never used any of it, but I did go to the Cosplay Fauxverlanding Expo and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express!*
Seems like a great system! I like how it’s versatile. Something like this with a compact stacking pot system with a kettle would be a great option. I think iKamper should make a flat, open grate that can hang below the tripod for cooking steaks and other meat directly over the flames.
Great review, looks like a great new system. Would get one, but I went with a tembo tusk a couple of years ago which is meeting my present needs. Would have likely went with this if it was an option when purchasing.
Awesome scenery and off-road footage with the doggo! Also nice open carry, never know when you’re gonna attract a bear that smells the bacon you’re frying up!!
that burner is Kovea camp 1(at least I think), which has been probably the best selling burner for decades and you can find them on ebay / amazon for around $90
Nice review. Two thoughts - 1) the table top is likely intended for use with the shortest tripod configuration as an end table, 2) Jet Boil sells a universal pot support for $10 which would address your concern about compatibility with other manufacturer’s pots/pans.
I appreciate this video. It was detailed, easy to follow. The person shooting the video should get a raise. Good job! I happily did a double take when I saw you carrying. I haven’t seen a camping video with someone carrying a smoke wagon. I do the same when I can. Always stay safe. Who makes the knife on your belt ?
I’m not sure when they plan on a full release. My best guess would be maybe next Spring to prep for next year’s Spring/Summer camping season?? But I have no clue
Hrmmm good question! I'm not sure, you might need to navigate to the specs on ikamper.com to verify. I used a butane mix... tho the stove receiver looks like it might fit one of those Coleman propane bottles
For the whole kit (tripod, burner, plate etc…) it was forecasted to be around $500 … which is kinda yikes. BUT iKamper did confirm that they’ll be selling each piece individually so for me since I’m typically cooking with gas, I’d go for the burner only. That thing is sweet - portable, put out big distribution of heat and folds up nicely
Correct, but i still don’t use it. For me it’s too much effort to attach and not enough surface area for me to replace my current camp table, so IMO that disco table design needs some more love
I’ve found the disc/skillet to be a good size, it looks like it’s about 14 inches in diameter and we’ve cooked enough food for 3 hungry adults on it - though it does have heat zones (hot in the middle and cooler toward the edges) when you cook with the burner, so that has the possibility of being problematic if you need a uniform temp across the entire skillet, but it hasn’t been an issue for me so far
@@unpavd yes cook zones are good but for me i have to feed a minimum of 5 people and most of the time 7. i went with the firedisc. packs up decently enough.

Excellent review and well filmed/edited; good to see you were packin' too!

found you through the pizza cutter videos since that's my next set up. Subscribed for fellow Seattle off roader.
Yeeeee🙌 thanks for the sub!
Just came upon your channel, love what I see! Sub’d!
Thank you!
The truck is built beautifully, would be nice to see some montage of the truck going through trails.
I'm compiling some drone footage of my current trip through Oregon and California. Will do!
I was laughing so hard when I saw you carrying like that In sweats. Hilarious 😂🤦🏻♂️

Good to know Jet Boil got wise! I believe in product design forgiveness, so I’ll check it out 🥸

Yup! Especially in bear + mountain lion country. My knife is a Morakniv Garberg. Love that puppy 🗡
Good review! Thank you for the details. Is this available for purchase or is it still in review process?

Cool !
You can buy a tabletop for ANY camera tripod and then use ANY stove
How are the 6112s holding up?
They're holding up well! Took them on a 1,300 mile trip to Joshua Tree and they're still rolling smooth
it's time for more videos bro
Is the stove propane compatible?

Why a gun on the hip with shorts?
Bear country + breathability
How much $ ?

pretty sure the table is for campfire mode
Correct, but i still don’t use it. For me it’s too much effort to attach and not enough surface area for me to replace my current camp table, so IMO that disco table design needs some more love
Seems like a cluster
the disc is just way too small

Your video super laud in the beginning, then volume go really low later. Really hurt my ears in the beginning
