Control the water content in it......if it is low, spray water in small amounts and if it is high dry the sand (can accelerate the process using blowers)

Molasses:
1. Acts as a binder, holding the sand grains together.
2. Helps create a stronger, more durable mold.
3. Reduces mold erosion during pouring.
Engine Oil:
1. Improves mold release properties (eases removal of cast part).
2. Reduces friction between mold and cast metal.
3. Helps prevent mold sticking.
