Im thinking if i should do this for an school art folio piece. Ive always been more of a illustrative, digital, character design artist rather than the traditional, artsy, portraiture like most of my class. Thx for the tutorials. Awesome speedpaint as well!

That's also awesome! Do you think this will become required knowledge for concept artists? Because it seems to me to be the closest thing to a game experience before the studio starts actually producing the assets. Your thoughts on this?

Nah, I don't think so. At least not in it's current form. I'd guess 3D software will surpass it's process soon.

how much ram do you need for this to work properly?

I'm not sure. I would guess it changes depending on the file size. I have 16 gb right now. I would imagine around 8-12.

I cant even get 3d extrusion to work on my 4 gb so probably 8+
