Learn how to turn your 2D digital paintings into a virtual world by making a digital art 360° spherical panorama with Photoshop CC 2018 and your painting software of choice. I'm using Corel Painter to paint in this example, but you can use your digital art app of choice to create your own panorama.

i have a problem, when it convert to panorama 3d, became black, evreything "work" ok, but i can see nothing, and even drawing nothing is shown

My 3D drop menu is different.. I can't find any information on my version of CC. My photoshop is up to date as of march 2019. I don't have a "spherical panorama" option at all. I have to go to "New Mesh from Layer" > "Mesh Preset" > "spherical Panorama". Can't figure out how to export.

I want to make a custom hand painted HDRI map to use in a Blender environment. Was wondering if I can use this technique.
Perfect for skybox painting! Is there any reason we cant just directly paint in photoshop sphere mode, rather than having to export and work on a flat image? That is, assuming one has a powerful enough computer to do so without lag.
You can, but it feels more natural to paint on a flat canvas, in my opinion.

what to do if the brush is pixelated even in high res files?
Any chance you could post a link to the grid you used (the one without vanishing points)? I couldn't find it with a simple Google search, but I found the other one, so I'm going to go play with it now.

Question for you ( of course) short version: Adobe Captivate elearning app allows me to add 360 panos into it, i cant draw, how can i copy and paste images into 'scene' and not have them look distorted when viewed? like you paintings don't look distorted? ty
Is it possible to cut the cloud, mountain, or grass from a photo and paste to the grid instead of drawing?
Hey Aaron if you have a painting you have already done that you would like to turn into a panoramic painting is this possible with using the cloning tools? Just a thought I have some I think would be great to use as 3D panoramas guess id have to change the bits that fell on the tricky areas of the panorama?
Apparently Photoshop is discontinuing its 3D features :') Are there any other softwares that allow painting in 360?
hi, this tutorial was amazing but i have a question, how could I paste a photo in a spherical panorama. when I tried and I merged the layers it was no longer a spherical panorama
nevermind i just had to make it a smart object first
why my "New Panorama Layer from shape" is grey, I can't click that function
